i walked into the arena cus i called everyone here for a surprise. i feel like being apart of the aces since my rookie year and having new people and creating a bond with them really gave me life.
i heard music playing in the locker room making me smile. everybody already hype so i can't wait to give them the surprise.
"hey guys" i said walking in.
"hey mama" jackie said as she kissed my cheek.
"so i called you guys here because i have a surprise for yall" i said smiling.
aja turned off the music and i set my stuff down.
"so you guys know that i've been having health issues the past year and it kind of makes me emotional cus there's no way i went through that. but i got good news today and there's no more surgeries" i said making everyone clap and cheer.
i smiled and wiped my tears i felt jackie hold my hand for comfort. she smiled at me making me blush.
"so with that being said, i went to my doctor today and im pregnant" i said pulling out a onesie.
"you guys are gonna be tetes" i said. everyone screamed and yelled in excitement.
jackie picked me up and spun me around making me giggle.
"omg we're gonna have a baby ?" she whispered.
"yess" i said back as we hugged.
"congratulations bookie" tiff said hugging me.
"thank you" i said. everyone else congratulated us and we thanked them.
"now lennox can have someone to play with" chels said making me nod.
"i can't believe you guys are gonna be mothers" queen said excitedly.
"me either.. im in shock considering i was told there's a chance i wouldn't be able to have kids but Gods timing is always perfect" i said.
"im proud of you baby. ik that it took a toll on you and your body but you did it. i have faith you gone carry our little baby to full term" jackie said.
"thank you mama" i told her.
"okay i got cupcakes" becky said coming in.
"wait you knew ?" kb asked.
"ofc i know everything" she said making us laugh.
"okay music time" aja said.
"IM IN A PARTY MOOD .. SAID A HOW BOUT YOUUU ?" we yelled the lyrics.
"hey guys sorry im late i had a doctors appointment" syd said coming in.
"what i miss ?? ion have a phone right now" she said.
"ohh well kelsey has some big news"
"what we celebrating since i wasn't informed ??"
"well i mean she did text in the gc" aja said.
"well i did tell yall that i wasn't using my phone for a mental health break so ????"
"sorry we forgot" kb mumbled.
"im pregnant" i said.
"ohhh congratulations.. i'll babysit" she said as she started dancing in the middle of the floor.
"ionk if i would trust her with our kid" jack said.
"hey now ntm imma responsible adult when it comes to kids" syd said making us laugh.

i watched as kelsey slowly walked into the kitchen. her bump is pretty big now it's so cute.
"hey what you want baby ?" i asked.
"pickles and hot chips please" she said making me scrunch up my face. (A/N: that's a SMACK combo without pregnancy cravings lol iykyk).
"you have weird pregnancy cravings but hey anything for you mama" i said making her smile and happily clap.
i cut up her pickles and put her chips in a bowl before walking into the living room handing them to her.
"thank you" she smiled.
"ofc love" i said.
i went back to the kitchen and grabbed some ruffles before sitting down beside her. i was watching tiktok but i could hear her sniffles making me look up.
"aww baby what's wrong ?? why you crying ?" i cooed as her eyes filled with tears.
"because your sitting all the way over there why don't you wanna sit by me you left me all alone" she said in one breath.
ofc hormones go crazy and anything makes her cry. i do my best to keep her happy but her hormones keep me on my toes.
i don't mind tho, she's carrying my baby and i would do anything for her.
"aww im sorry mama i'll come sit by you" i said grabbing my phone. i got up and sat down beside her as she sniffled.
"no tears baby" i said wiping her face. she smiled at me and wrapped her arms around mind. she so clingy but so cute lol.
"your the best wife yk that ?" she mumbled.
"thank you baby. but so are you. it means so much that you risked your body to carry my baby and imma forever be grateful for you" i said.
"i would do anything for you" she said.
"and yk its vice versa my love" i said.
afterwards we was just chillin on the couch cus we had no other plans and ik kels is super tired. i rubbed her belly as we watched tiktok on her phone.

a few minutes later we went upstairs to do our night time routine before getting into bed. she laid her head on my chest and i rubbed her belly.
"i kinda miss my abs tho" she said giggling.
"don't worry you'll get em back after baby bean is born but pregnancy look good on you" i said.
"thank you baby" she said as we shared a kiss.
we watched tiktok until we both fell asleep. kels being pregnant is still so unbelievable considering what she went through. we thought it would never happen but ofc God time is always perfect. he really blessed us with baby bean.
