"oh and she threw a wine glass at me" i said rubbing my forehead.

"guys what are we gonna do ? she needs help" gabby said.

"maybe we can set up an appointment for her and then somehow get her to go" chelsea said.

"yeah but she'd kill us once she realizes" aja said.

"ohh shh here she comes" i said shushing them.

we watched as she walked downstairs slowly. she looked up and rolled her eyes when she realized we were here.

"ughhh what ??" she said rolling her eyes.

"what do you guys want ? how did you even get in here ?" kelsey asked.

"hey too you to" i said laughing.

"here we brought you your favorite coffee" i said. she quickly came over to me and held her hand out.

"aht you gotta give me a hug" i said. she smiled and hugged me tightly.

"okay here you go" i said. i sat down and kelsey sat down on my lap.

"guys let's go out tomorrow night" chelsea said.

4 minutes later we heard someone knock on the door. aja opened it and it was arike and & rickea my best friend and little sister.

"hey yall" arike said.

"BESTIEE" she yelled coming over to me. she hugged me tightly making me laugh.

"hey girl" i said.

"i really feel like this is a 20/80 friendship" she said making me look at her in confusion.

"wym ?" i asked.

"im always the one calling you, texting you, showing excitement when i see you, and you do not be returning the favor."

"if youn wanna be my bestie anymore just say that" she added.

"girl shut up you sound dumb. i just been trying to help kelsey deal with her heart break. but just know you ain't going nowhere and neither am i"

"yk i love you bestie" i said too her.

2 days later🫶🏾.

"okay kels let's go" i said pulling her out the door.

"no jackie i don't wanna go" she whined.

"this will be good for you. okay you need to get out and have fun. i promise you will enjoy it. please ?"

"if you don't like it i will take you home" i said. she stared at me and huffed walking to my car.

we pulled up and we walked in and went to the back booth with aja.

"here kelsey you need it" rickea said handing her a shot. she drank it and got out.

"i want more" she yelled making me laugh.

"we got her out the house boo" i said to aja and she nodded.

"hey can i talk to you ?" i asked.

"ofc wassup sis ?" aja asked.

"okay so yk how i've been around kelsey 24/7 trying to help her through her heart break right ?"

"mhm"

"i have a crush on her" i said quickly making aja eyes widen.

"omg that's amazing. maybe when she get out of this sadness she'll like you back and move on" aja said making me smile.

"don't worry i won't tell anyone sis" she said.

"SIS COME ON" rickea said. i pulled aja up and we went to dance. i could feel the alcohol setting in my body.

"jackie ? you drunk ?" arike asked me.

"no.. just tipsy lol" i said laughing.

"where's kelsey ?" i asked.

"over there look" she said.

i looked over and saw kelsey laughing taking shot after shot. this girl really tryna get messed up. i grabbed her waist and pulled her over.

"hey how you feel ?" i asked.

"good. why was i so depressed about a man that hurt me. i gave him my everything but that doesn't mean im not gonna find the one right ?" she said making me smile.

"right. that's it girl. im proud of you yk that ? ik it took a lot of fighting and strength to even get out of bed let alone get dressed and come out" i said.

she wrapped her arms around my waist and hugged me and tightly. i could feel the butterflies in my stomach.

she grabbed my hand and led me to the back where there was no one else. i felt like maybe she just got tired of being around people.

we stared into each others eyes and i leaned down mashing my lips to hers. her hands roamed my body stopping at my butt.

i grabbed my phone and recording us. after pulling away i hugged her and she smiled at my camera.

"ugh i think i drank too much" i said as the alcohol began to wear down.

"well im having fun" she said smiling at me.

THE NEXT DAYY🫶🏾.

i woke up too kelsey's head on my chest. i smiled and grabbed the advil and water from the side of the bed.

i grabbed my phone and went to look at the pictures from last night. i came across a video of me and kelsey kissing ?? it all came back to me. my crush for her is even bigger now lord.

i started too stir and i sat my head up smiling at jackie.

"morning" i said.

"morning sleeping beauty" she said making me smile.

we got up and both showered and did our morning routine then headed downstairs.

"hey girl how you feel ?" gabby asked.

"good. happy i feel like something changed last night. thank you guys for taking me out i really needed it and it made me realize that i still have a life to live" i said.

"awww ofc we love you girl and what that man did too you was wrong but now you gotta show him he fumbled a bad b****" aja said.

"PERIODD" chelsea said.

jackie and i walked to the kitchen and i hugged her. idk what it is but she got in whipped. i constantly wanna hug her and be in her skin.

"thank you jack... for being here since day 1 and ik i gave you a hard time but im really heart broken. i wanna work towards getting over that heartbreak and being myself again" i said.

"ofc kels yk i will always be here for you love. you worth so much baby and i want you to see that" she said. i smiled and kissed her cheek and we headed back into the living room where everyone else were.
