The trio quickly broke off from the crowd of people who also got off, as they were all displeased at how pushy the crowd was. He checked his watch as he swept his blonde hair behind his ear, humming softly as he made his way through the confusing and intricate streets.

"You all are meeting up at the cafe about three streets down from their apartment, right?" The long haired ravenet asked him from behind, his voice was curiously dull as if he didn't want to do their mission.

"Yes, and we should make it on time. Now, Illumi, you should keep an eye on our group but stay at a safe distance while I introduce Kalluto and get on with the meeting, afterward we should be heading over to the apartment where the mission can be completed quickly and we can return back in about a day or so as they'll be wanting to search for the culprit."

"Mm, do you have any plan in case Kil gets suspicious?" The medium haired ravenet asked in turn as he pulled out his fan and fluttered it.

"Not really, as I'm sure he won't do anything too extreme. Besides, I'll just vouch for you if that does happen." He replied absently as he did another turn, trying to keep track of their jumbled path.

"So, technically, you do have a plan." The ravenets said in unison, and Kurapika suppressed a sigh.

Working with these two will certainly prove to be something.

"Mhm-" He looked up and immediately choked on air and he shoved Illumi into the closest crevasse.

"W-" Illumi began, but Kurapika smacked him with one of his chains, too quickly for normal people to see, and he shut up.

Kalluto was simply gapping at the whole situation until he saw just who were heading straight for them and his fan started fluttering harder.

"Stop that." Kurapika hissed and gently swatted his hand.

Killua, Gon, and Leorio were heading straight for them, the two ladders in their usual laid back manners with the former being his usual airy and cheerful self.

"You, here." He whispered over to Kalluto and pointed next to him. "I'll start the conversation."

Kalluto nodded and moved to stand right next to him as Kurapika raised himself up and waved his hand over in their direction, causing them to spot them.

Gon immediately lit up and ran over to him while Killua hesitated for a moment before running over to Gon, leaving Leorio to slowly walk his way over.

"Kurapika!" Gon shouted as he nearly crashed into him, making him step back a bit before regaining full balance.

"Nice to see you all too." He laughed, but side-eyed Killua as he watched the two brothers look at each other warily, and Kurapika didn't know how this would turn out.

Leorio decided to pick up his pace and jogged over to them, grinning like a complete idiot.

"Hey there, Kurapika. And who are you?" He greeted and asked back to back, switching his focus from Kurapika to Kalluto quickly.

Killua and Kalluto were still staring at each other, and soon Kalluto couldn't stop the subtle flutters that he made with his fan.

"Why are you here?" Killua finally asked after a few awkward moments of silence.

"Uhm... Well-"

"He's with me." Kurapika quickly cut in, glancing between the two as he let Gon go to gently tug Kalluto back to his side. "I found him while I was out hunting for the Spiders, we've been together ever since."

Killua raised an eyebrow at this, clearly disbelieving this small fib, but that was fine.

They could prove it easily anyway.

"What's your name?" Gon asked the small ravenet, glancing between Killua and Kalluto as well.

"Ah, uhm, I'm Kalluto. Killua's brother." Kalluto said in a rather small voice as he stared at Gon, eyes observing the new person with great interest- and suspicion.

Kurapika knew why he was doing this, of course. It was because he might pose a threat to the mission later on if they deem them suspicious.

"Oh!" The boy's smile faded ever so slightly before widening again. "So you're like A-"

"Shut up, idiot." Killua hissed with a strained smile.

Poor Leorio was just watching the two boys glare at each other helplessly, and Kurapika could tell he had probably done a terrible job at babysitting.

Predictable.

Illumi watched the group with narrowed eyes, fingers twitching unconsciously as his two brothers met again. It was- what was that word again? Agonizing? To simply sit here and watch while their target was so close, such an easy kill, and could've been much easier if Kil hadn't gotten attached to anyone. But then, hadn't he grown attached to potential targets as well? He let out a sigh as he sat down at a table not too far from the group, but just enough so Kil wouldn't immediately spot him.

"Hello there, sir!" A rather sickeningly cheerful voice sounded from somewhere behind him and he turned his head to look at the cause.

It was a young woman, presumably working here, with soft amber eyes and black hair. She looked around Illumi's age, and had a smile on her face.

"Can I help you with anything?" Illumi glanced around the place, quickly realizing this was a neighboring cafe.

"Ah, no." He tried his best to smile and lighten his mood a bit, fingers curling from their placements on the seat. "I'm fine, thank you."

The woman nodded, appearing to understand something, before turning away a bit.

"If you need anything, just ask for Anafela."

Illumi watched the woman leave before turning back to watch the group, but his attention wasn't completely on them anymore. What a strange woman.
