Volume 4 - Arc 3 [Hunt the hero league]

"Let him go Lost..." Kash spoke trying to approach him calmly. Adam legacy stayed still for a few moments as he was clearly thinking about what he should do next as the situation between him and Kash was becoming more tense and heated in the heat of the moment. Eventually after a few seconds Adam legacy slowly released his grip letting Nathaniel go as he glared at him coldly. "Guessing bird is upstairs... Omens downstairs- So where is Comet and Juice.... Their nearby aren't they." Kash spoke sternly watching at Adam to make sure he didn't reach for his gun. Adam legacy stayed still as he looked at Kash with a straight unemotional face not moving a single facial muscle as he spoke. "They are on the roof top... I am sure you will see them in a few minutes." He spoke clearly getting ready to draw his weapon and start a fight rather than talking this out. "You military men are so serious-" Nathaniel groaned. "We are just going to leave peacefully... No need for this Lost we are trying to fix everything-" Kash snapped a bit. Adam legacy stayed still as he listened to Kash's reasoning and watched as Nathaniel groaned in annoyance. He seemed to think it over for a minute before he spoke in a serious and stern tone. "Very well I will let you pass..." he said before turning around a heading towards the stairs with his team without reaching for his gun or starting a fight. Kash nodded firmly Heading for the way they got in staying as the lead. "Kid you ride with me..." Kash grabbed up Fue then nodded to the other two before flying off into the sky. Fue sat down with Kash as he held on to him tight as they were about to fly into the sky. "So, what exactly is it that you are going to do to change the hero league exactly?" Fue asked as he looked down towards Kash. "Von tried to purify the league once already, But Cosmine Borne had a pupil who continued his ways. We will take out the non-pure members. Rebuild it. Then the anti-hero league as the public calls it can retire." Kash explained. "And you think all of this will be that easy for you to do?" Fue asked as he continued to look down towards Kash. "Bitz is already Eliminated... Leaves Stinger and Canopy." Kash spoke calmly. "I believe Stinger's brother Grit; the younger one will side with us. He has always been pure due to their mothers' crimes. Grit is Stinger's half-brother. His... Mother took advantage of his father, paralyzed him... did what she wanted, then killed him and had Grit later." Kash explained with a grim expression as they landed at the mansion. Fue sat there as he listened to the story that Kash spoke about. He felt sympathy for stinger's brother as he thought about what he was told, and he looked away trying to digest this information as they were now landing at the mansion. "He would make an excellent teacher." Kash stated as he led Fue and Roman to see Von with Nathaniel beside him. Fue did not respond as they began to walk towards von along with Nathaniel as he continued to follow Kash's lead. He was feeling a little overwhelmed as he had thought about a lot of the things Kash said as he realized that if they did not stop Captain Stinger then the league would be ruined forever, and the world would soon fall into a dark place. "Boss. Mission was successful and in fact, Roman took out Bitz the Dragonfly Hero. We have Stinger and Tony left sir." Kash reported. Von gave a small sigh before he replied back by saying "Good...I want stinger neutralized at all costs..." "We retrieved Fue Garnier Aswell sir. Butane." Kash then gestured for Fue to step forward to Von. Fue looked up at von and he nodded his head before stepping forward to him and looking over at von for him to decide what he was about to be told. "You will train with Joseph." Von stated calmly. "Roman... Fue... Nathaniel, When Stinger and Canopy are handled. I wish for you three to join and repurify the Hero league. Kash, Kaden i want you two to focus on handling Canopy and Stinger, Get to Hercules and Puncture.... get them to join us..." Von Stated. Roman nodded in understanding as he heard Von's statement. Fue was now feeling a bit of relief to hear that they would have some backup from familiar hero's once they managed to get stinger and canopy. "Understood von- we will take care of the two of them..." Kash responded as he nodded his head firmly. Von then squinted at Roman and Fue. "Do grandpa a favor and take Fue with you to relax... You earned it, the maids have snacks for you boys in the kitchen..." Von's gaze softened. Roman and Fue were shocked by his sudden change of attitude towards them as he seemed to be a bit more laid back and a little bit gentler with them than he normally was towards someone in their current situation. Fue's eyes began to widen as he heard about the snacks in the kitchen he looked over at roman with a curious expression as he started to feel a little bit hungry. Von smiled softly watching the boys scurry out the room before returning to his cold serious gaze at the others. "Get going... Nathaniel- You're off the hook the rest of the way Aswell get back onto your studies." Nathaniel seemed surprised by this sudden change of tone and mood as he had expected it to be a bit more severe for him. He gave von a small nod followed by a small wave before he turned around before heading out of the room to get back onto his studies like he was told to do. "Right Kaden looks like we got assigned." Kash grinned cheekily. Kaden nodded as he replied back with a grin "Seems like it my friend...we are going to go have to go talk to herc and punch in a few minutes huh?" "So who does the talking and who plays distraction?" Kash questioned as they walked to the gear room so Kaden could "suit up" as he puts it. "I say you can play distraction this time and i can do the talking since it has been a fair number of times that i have played the distraction while you did the talking for us and it is about time that we switched it up a bit since you are so good at getting people's attention." Kaden replied as he walked towards the gear room with a cheeky grin on his face. "Wow- Flamango is gonna get serious- I shall happily distract Stinger and Canopy then." Kash nodded as started shoving a bullet proof best under his suit. "It is about time that you saw a more serious side of me my friend i can not always be all fun and games all the time in these situations...especially when we are going to be dealing with one of the strongest and possibly the most dangerous hero in the city in stinger as well as a hero that can control the ground and create earthquakes in canopy." Kaden said as he continued to get his suit ready and put on a bullet proof vest under his suit as well. Kash laughed softly walking to the flight balcony. "You really have to wear the pink man?" Kash scoffed a bit. "Hey i can have any color that i want and i just so happen to like the color pink and i am a grown adult male so i can wear what i want to wear and you cannot tell me different." Kaden replied sarcastically with a cheeky grin on his face as he looked over at Kash who was laughing at him and seemed to be trying to suppress a laugh as well. "You do you bro-" Kash flexed his wings open. "If those wings were mine- I would have dyed them." Kash snickered as the flew off into the sky heading for the Hero League base. "Hah yeah i am sure you really would have dyed them if they were yours since they would have fit your color scheme much better than pink does even though i think pink is a pretty badass color for a hero to use." Kaden replied as he spread out his wings and flapped them to take off and follow after Kash. "You're not worried about Villains or Heroes thinking you're a fruit loop?" Kash chuckled as they few sides by side respecting each other's wings flaps radiuses. "Heh who says that i am not a fruit loop- what if i was a fruit loop then how would you feel?" Kaden replied sarcastically back to kash as they continued to fly towards the hero league base where stinger and canopy were currently located. "Hey- You knew what i meant... I guess then hurray for you- But if that isn't the case I'm just curious if chicks actually like it?" Kash stated defending himself. "Well i mean you cannot go wrong with a good-looking guy who is also wearing a badass pink color scheme that also happens to make him look more confident and hotter. Plus, girls always go for confidence so i guess you could say that they do like it...i mean i get a lot of girls who flirt with me all the time because of my amazing suit." Kaden replied with more sarcasm thrown into his words than his previous reply towards Kash. "Right... Whatever works i supposed to each their own." Kash rolled his eyes as they approached the Hero league base. "Exactly my friend, exactly! Now let us talk about the important stuff, do you have a plan on how we are going to handle stinger and canopy?" Kaden questioned as he continued to look over at Kash. "I will stay a distraction, We cannot try to kill them- not yet... You get in there and tell Hercules the truth same with Puncture." Kash ordered getting serious. "All right my bro i will try my best to get these two to see that the league is not what borne wants it to be and that it needs to change and that they need to change before it is too late, and it turns into something completely different from what it once was. Also, what about if one of them refuses to listen to me and then tries to make it a brawl?" Kaden inquired as they continued to fly towards the hero league base and approach the opening to land. "We will flee then start plans to hunt them one by one." Kash nodded firmly as he landed. "Sounds like a plan to me!" Kaden replied as he landed with Kash next to him as they got their suits ready to go. "Let us go in there and see what Hercules and puncture think of this situation now." Kash nodded firmly as he left inside down to the main area with the awards and items of the original leagues old belongings like old suits and such on display. "Good... Time to catch a moth." Kash grunted before busting one of the glass cases setting alarms off grabbing out Injectica's Syringes to gaslight Stinger by grabbing his dead mothers items. "Injectica's syringes! What exactly are you planning on doing with those!" Kaden asked with a bit of shock and concern as he watched Kash grab the syringes that belonged to injectica and that she had been using for awhile before she had been taken down by Fallion. "You go find Hercules and Puncture. I will handle my part-" Kash ordered before stepping to a security camera mocking it. "Hey Stinger- Got your mommies toys... Come play- Bring Canopy~ i want a play date with you-" Kash spoke with sarcasm and venom. The security camera began flashing red as it began to record and send the message to stinger and canopy. Stinger and canopy both looked over at each other before finally speaking out towards the camera as stinger replied in a somewhat angry tone. "What the heck do you want Kash? Do you have a death wish or something?" "I could just raid the place then-" Kash scoffed about to break another case. Stinger started to stare at Kash with an even angrier look as he started to get quite a bit more upset than he had been previously. "I swear to god if you break another one of the cases here i will throw you out of my damn base and you can have any fun with that." stinger warned with a cold tone as he spoke towards Kash. "I will take my chances-" Kash grinned busting a case grabbing out Galivants cape slipping it on. "Wow i see why he wore it, Cozy-" Kash grinned with disrespect. "This is your last warning before i really do start to lose my patience Kash-do not destroy another god damn thing in here or else you are really going to see just how pissed off i am really able to get before i snap!" stinger barked as he glared at Kash with a cold look as if he was actually getting mad at the destruction that Kash was doing in the base. Kash rose an eyebrow hovering his fist over Cosmine Bornes suit cabinet. Stinger continued to stare at Kash while he remained silent for a bit before finally speaking as he saw the fist hover over Cosmine's suit cabinet. "You would not dare..." stinger stated firmly as he began to get even more angry at the destruction that Kash was causing. "Oh yes i very much would asshole- This is for my parents - You fucking killed!" Kash snapped punching the case. "You think that i actually killed your parents!" stinger shouted as he was now starting to snap and let his own temper come out as he started to rage now. "The only people i have ever killed are villains and you would never have fit into that classification for me if you had not turned evil." stinger replied as he began to walk closer towards Kash. Kash growled furious watching Stinger approach him. His wings fluffed up ruffling wildly. "You over injected them... I saw you- After you touched that woman in the alley... My father told you to stop- You hurt them... I know the truth- The hero league is corrupted, and Your mother was as evil as them all... Your teacher- Cosmin was a Murderer- Tony is turning out exactly like him damn it-" Kash hissed. "I have no clue what the hell you are talking about! i never touched that woman in the alley! your father would never tell me to stop anything! Cosmine may have been a murderer but that is no reason for you to destroy the hero league which is just trying to save people and do the worlds a service!" stinger replied back to Kash. "Tony is a murderer... You- You are one too... You have justified it to yourself that you were helping- You weren't. Cut the shit Stinger!!" Kash snapped pissed. "Shut your mouth you liar! Tony is not a murderer nor am i! you are just some idiot kid that should be in a psych ward with all of these stupid conspiracies and lies that are running through your head!" stinger shouted back in fury as if he was about to snap at any moment. "There it is... Your cracking- because I'm right..." Kash growled with venom. "You are wrong...but your dumbass just doesn't get it that you are making it up just to have an excuse to destroy the hero league." stinger barked back as he continued to move closer towards Kash. Kash's eyes widened backing away the second he saw Stingers syringes. "Then why do ya got those- You fucking liar-" Kash grunted. "I have those syringes for the good of the people! to make them safer and so we could all live good and safe lives without having to worry about any villains!" stinger barks back as he continues to move closer towards Kash. Kash yelped when one of the Syringes hit his left wing making it go numb and limp folding it to his back punching Stinger from himself. Stinger was completely surprised by this as suddenly he felt a sting in his back from the syringe which caused his entire arm to go numb as it started to fold itself up near his back and not respond to his mind wanting to use it. "What the hell Kash you little..." stinger whispered in pain as he tried to move his arm. Kash gave a sadistic gaze holding up Stingers mothers syringe having hit Stinger's arm with it when he had punched him. "My mother was a good person!" stinger snarled as he tried to move his arm before looking over at Kash with a cold look and then attempting to punch Kash with the only hand that he was able to use. "She was a criminal... So were you-" Kash grunted injecting Stinger. "I'm sick of being afraid of you-!" Kash shouted as he inhaled deeply screeching into stinger loudly holding a tight grip onto him when Tony ran into the hall at the sight of Kash killing Stinger right when Kaden caught up to Kash to tell him his results. Stinger fell to the ground as his arm became paralyzed and unable to move after being injected with one of injectica's syringes let alone from Kash's high pitched screech killing him. "Holy shit... You did it-" Kaden mumbled running and pulling Kash to him as Tony staggered drunkenly in the hall confused in his red hero suit. Tony stood there in the hall for a few seconds before stumbling forward and tripping on itself as he seemed to be so drunk that he could barely stand anymore. "Stingers dead!" tony yelled out in a drunken slurred tone as if what he had just said was the most amazing thing in the world despite the fact that he was supposedly stingers teammate and friend. The realization hit Tony hard as he stared at the one man he saw like a father before looking to Kash with pure hatred. "You really thought that i would just let you leave-" tony shouted back at Kash and gave him a cold glare as his drunkenness seemed to have been replaced with anger. "And as for you killing stinger i do not think that you fully understand just what you have done..." tony continued as he was now looking directly at Kash with a cold look of pure hatred and anger on his face. "Kash, we need to go-" Kaden panicked paging von with his phone as Puncture and Hercules came to their aid beside Kash. "Tony back off... Your next on the list-" Kash snapped cautiously watching Tony over his unpredictable drunken state let alone the mental issues he has. "Oh, you have a list huh? what are you going to do to me huh?! try and take me down like you did stinger?" tony shouted drunkenly at Kash as he started to walk towards Kash while holding his fist up high getting ready for a showdown. "Stand down- Tony Bramble" Puncture threatened through his mask squinting as i gripped a sword. "My brother was evil... My mother- I have always known what she had done- You show the same evil." His voice was deep and rough cutting straight to the point. "Tony... You have to stop" Hercules tried to speak with reason while Kaden was on the phone trying to get Von and Joseph to come. Tony stared straight ahead as he was still holding his fist up in the air but he had yet to take another step towards Kash as he remained where he was as his drunken state continued to make him look as if he was seeing double. This made him quite easy to be taken advantage of if an attack was launched at him. Kash stepped forward punching into Tony hard engaging the fight. Tony stumbled back after being punched by Kash with his eyes wide and face filled with shock as he had been caught off guard and sent several feet back by the blow from Kash's fist. "This ends- Tony-" Kash hissed sonic booming Tony into a wall stepping aside as Puncture stepped forward. "Make that moth grounded- Cut his wings Puncture-" Kash barked. "Got it Kash!" puncture barked as he then held up his sword in his hands a bit before getting a good grip on it and slashing at tony twice to try and cut off or hurt Tony's wing. Tony was quickly surprised by the attack from puncture which caused him to stumble back in pain which is when he heard the familiar voice of Hercules which made him smirk. "Tony Please stop this!" Hercules snapped rearing his head as Puncture sliced Tonys right wing off as Hercules bucked and shoulder slammed Tony against a wall holding him down. "We grew up t-together- I loved Stinger as much as you- Trust me- but i saw the videos... Flamango told me everything- I- i saw what you did Tony- I know the truth-" Hercules scolded sounding emotionally hurt. Tony looked over at Hercules with a look of complete shock and anger as he suddenly snapped and shoved him hard with his left arm making him go flying across the room. "You are all lying! I can feel the lies!" tony shouted out as if there was no getting through to him anymore as he then charged over at Kash once more. Hercules grunted sliding catching himself as Kash got into a heated fist fight against Tony before looking up when he heard a loud scream like sound from the skylight above them as the glass shattered scattering all over the room from Von in his old Hero suit from his prime landed down kicking Tony from Kash. Tony got kicked in the side by von sending him crashing down to the ground a little bit away from Kash as he was left stunned and unable to get up right away. "Excuse me... I wish to retire... Can you Bug off... Please." Von spoke coldly mocking Tony. "Do i look like a god damn puppy that i will just obey whatever you tell me to do you stupid geezer?" tony shouted back at von as he struggled to get up. "Ignorance..." Von stepped forward striking Tony with precise and strategic strikes aiming for pressure points and vital muscle spots. Tony began to struggle and scream at this point as every strike was landing and beginning to take a toll on his body as Tony's breathing became quite strained and labored as he was struggling to catch his breath. Kash watched with Kaden panicking worried for Von to be fighting with Puncture and Hercules standing awaiting to step in incase. "Boss your heart-" Kaden warned worried as Von was taking wild swings from tony. "Dammit Von just be serious for a change and finish him off!" Kaden shouted from the side trying to tell von what to do but von himself was a bit too busy fighting with tony to acknowledge what Kaden was saying. Kash glanced at Kaden confused over the heart comment before it hit him looking to Von eye wide running forward when Tony punches Von in the chest sending him sliding back shaking, "VON" Kash shouted running to Vons side catching him as the heart attack was hitting. "no no no-" Kash snapped panicking as Puncture stepped forward at Tony with his katana raised. "Pity i didn't have time to soak this blade... Give you a taste of venom..." Puncture grunted. Von remained on the floor as he was struggling for breath and seemed to be on the edge of a heart attack with Kash trying to help keep him alive while Tony stood there and laughed at the scene as he tried to take advantage of the situation. "How funny that you can all be so worried for each other...you heroes are all pathetic" Tony grunted and laughed as he now took the opportunity to begin to attack puncture as well hoping to kill him off to make it easier for himself when he attacked Kash. Puncture grunted blocking Tonys way shoulder bucking him back from Kash and Von. "Dammit stop blocking me! i need to get to Kash and take him down!" tony shouted as he continued to try, and shove puncture out of his way as he continued to put a lot of power into his attempts at moving him. Punctures eyes widened as he sliced Tonys remaining wing off kicking him backwards violently. after Tony's remaining wing had been sliced off it left Tony with a look of horror and pain on his face as he was stunned and unable to do anything to defend himself as he struggled to keep himself upright with only one arm. Puncture circled with tony trying to keep him away from Kash and Von while Kaden and Hercules watched terrified. "This ends... For good- For my Father- For the innocent lives destroyed and harmed... The era of new heroes... They will fix this-" Puncture then stabbed himself with his kitana soaking the blade with the venomous blood before pulling it out swiftly stabbing it into tony. "We shall die together- Myself with Honour... You- damned to hell." Puncture gargled shuddering. after the poison had fully penetrated Tony's body he went limp and fell over onto the floor leaving him barely alive and breathing softly as he was left there to die by puncture who had decided to end his life to finish what he had set out to do. Puncture shuddered dropping to his knees shortly bleeding out fairly fast as Tony laid dying from the venom and blood loss. as both puncture and tony laid on the floor both of their breathing continued to slow down due to the blood loss and the lethal venom that was injected into Tony as they looked over at each other with no words that needed to be exchanged as they both knew that their end would be happening any moment now. Kash looked over slowly eye wide when he got Von stable enough that Kaden stepped in moving over to Puncture beside Hercules. "He... he did it.." Kash spoke staring. "Well i guess he did..." Hercules muttered to himself as he began to watch as both Tony and puncture were slowly bleeding out and their breaths began to slow down more and more with death coming close to each of them. Kash looked to Hercules before gently patting his shoulder sighing. "You will do great leading the new generation of the league... I am sorry about everything..." Kash spoke with reassurance. "I will try my best to take care of this new generation of heroes and i will be the next leader of this league for we both know that this league is the only thing capable enough to protect the innocent people" Hercules spoke back with empathy while still watching over the dying scene of tony and puncture laying on the floor about to breathe their last breaths. Kash then crouched to Punctures body when they went still closing his eyes. "You will be forever remembered..." Kashs voice cracked a bit nodding as he took Punctures Katana sheathing it as Von stepped over his hand over his chest still but recovering from it only being a micro heart attack. Hercules and von both sighed as they then looked at each other with tears in their eyes as they realized that their good friend and respected hero had chosen to end their own life to take down a ruthless maniac. Both Hercules and von both stood there in silence with teary eyes as they both remained by punctures side while Tony's body lay in the background with his breathing slowing down to a stop with his last few breaths. "Right, let's get to the manor... Let the police come and clean this all up. We must inform the boys and find us a fifth member for the new league." Von ordered nodding as Kash carried Punctures katana exiting with them. "What about his body?" Hercules whispered looking over to where Tony's body lay as it continued to lay there with his breath slowing and his life almost fading. "That has been handled." Von stated as a former hero that went rogue came from a distant room growling and laughing as he stomped down the hall to Tonys body with cackling echoing. "I made a payment to him... the former now rogue hero Cackle... He eats his enemies..." Von nodded calmly as he waved for Hercules to follow. "That is a rather disturbing way to dispose of someone's body...but since he was a hero- and an ally i suppose that is not a problem." Hercules mumbled. "Come Hercules let us get out of here this is clearly not a sight anyone wants to see anymore." Von said quietly as he started to exit the room as they both left the scene and headed to the manor to begin preparations. "Tony was a false hero... Please keep that in mind... We are the actual heroes. Sometimes death is needed to do what is right. That being said- Do not just go crazy." Von instructed. "You do not need to lecture me.... i appreciate the guidance. when i have been trying to lead my own team just fine as it is. I know what is right and what is needed, and Tony had been making all sorts of trouble and needed to be dealt with. Now that all of it is done is there anything else that needs to be done right now?" Hercules snapped back at von before letting out a small sigh. "Yes, a fifth member. Find one." Von nodded. "That will be difficult seeing as we already have all the traditional types of heroes. Who should i try and get then?" Hercules asked. "I plan to retire, Same with a lot of my boys. You will have Nathaniel gray his hero name is Pidge, Roman Brady the prodigy of Kash brady the hero Red wing trained by myself and the other feathered kings. Fue Ganier the hero Butane... You just have to Find one more. I have faith." Von nodded.
