The wizarding world knew this year would be different, and they could feel it in their magic, both light and dark knew.
Harry Potter could sense something ancient coming. He had no idea how, but he knew it.
He could feel his shoulders relax, and his magic, which always felt caged, now started to feel more free, and his mind felt clearer.
He walked into the great hall to get ready to eat breakfast at fifteen, and with war building, he had a lot on his mind, italsp did not hell having Umbridge annoying him and using those blasted Quills into the school.
He knew something would happen soon as it was all hallows eve in a week, and something always seemed to happen to him on that night.
As Harry sat down,he saw he was next to Neville and frowned wondering why he never spoke to Neville,so he started to talk to Neville and spoke while they ate but about half way during their talk Hermonie and Ron came storming in trying to convince him to create a secret group which had him sighing.
He kept wondering why he bothered with them both anymore, and both he could tell them to get lost silence descended over the hall.
Harry looked over to the teacher table and saw them all looking pale when they saw a woman standing facing the childern with a smirk of mischief on her lips.
She was tall, with long blonde hair that had platts and clothes that reminded him of what someone wore in those history books he read once.
Harry could make out bits of silver in her hair, and she had tattoos over the sides of her face that looked like runes, but what surprised Harry was the magic flowing out from her.

"Hello, Little Wizards and Witches.
I am Helga of galdra ferðamenn and it's time for the renewal . All must attend the renewal or risk to lose your magic.
We will host the renewal on the ground of Hogwarts."

Harry thought her voice sounded like bells, but he saw her turn to face the head table and fave Dumbledore a look of disgust before laughing at the stunned faces before clapping her hands and vanished.

"What is the Renewal?"

Harry looked to Hermonie, who looked surprised and had no answer, but it was Neville that answered.

"The Renewal happens when the ley lines need magical renewal which is not very often. It helps to replenish ourselves and our magic if we are in dire need, we used to perform rituals during the holidays, but Muggleborns were not comfortable with it, and magic has been on a decline since."

Harry was surprised by that, but he saw many half bloods and nearly all pureblood around him nodding in agreement, surprising him.

"That's because they're dark and evil."

Hermonie said with Ron nodding along, but Harry looked at them bewildered, and others could see it too.

"They are no such thing Hermonie, you know nothing of them, and insulting them shows your ignorance."

For the first time, Neville could see the lion in Neville along with the look of disgust on Neville face along with many others.

"Well, I will not be attending a dark ritual, I think they're lying and do not believe their lies."

That had many people, including teachers, gasping and sucking in breaths at what she said, not even other muggle-borns could believe her and wanted to attend the ritual, thus deciding to distance themselves from her
Before she could carry on her rant, Professor Mcgonagol came down the steps and dragged her away with Ron following but Harry stayed and talked to Neville about galdra ferðamenn and was informed that thry were an ancient order of Druids that mixed in ancient cultures and travelled the world and some say beyond.
Neville and others told him they could use magic without a wand and were blessed by the gods and no government was allowed to deny them access, one city did once and that city was wiped from the map and history's for the most part.
Harry was both intrigued and a little frightened but Neville informed him that everyone must attend in so that gave Harry the chance to prove Voldermort was back and when Neville told him that they must bring Azkaban Prisoners and that of an escapey came in they had to leave him be for 24 hours which made Harry smile because glamours would jot work nor would the animagus abilities as everyone had to come as their true selves which Harry really liked.
Harry was so into his conversation with Neville that he did not notice the panic on Dumbledores' face nor on Snapes.
