Reborn to be a Dark Lady

Ingrid looked at Vincent and Freya with a serious expression as they looked heartbroken at her, she ignored it as it was her choice, she knew Niklaus and Elijah were preparing to kill themselves  after taking in the hollow to protect hope but she knew they wished to stay and see Hope grow up and Ingrod could not keep living like this, she had been depressed for centuries and this was a way to make the pain stop.
She could finally be free and do it in such a way that it would be a gift for her family.

"Ingrid"

Freya said painfully, looked at her youngest and sweetest sister, and she could see the Ingrid was completely at peace with this choice, and it made her sad.

"You understand there will be no coming back from this?"

Vincent asked her, wanting her to be completely sure, he understood what she was doing, she wanted her brother to raise his daughter and to be free of this life as a host to the Hollow, Ingrid Mikealson was the sweetest vampire he had ever met and that suprised him when her sireline were monsters like Jack the ripper, etc, she had already stated that her sireline will die with her and he was okay with that but it was a shame that she had to go for it to happen.

"Yes, when Nik comes to you. You knock out my siblings and take the hollow, then place it in me, I have the white oak  already and left a fake in its place.
I am ready for a new adventure and to keep my family happy. No one will care. I am gone after a while, I will be forgotten, use my death, and that of my sireline to bring Hayley back."

Ingrid says this with a smile, making Freya sob because she would never forget. This was her baby sister who helped her any chance she got but was always unappreciated by the family.
Once they agreed, they prepared, and when Elijah came before Nik asked to transfer half to him, they just pretended to agree. Then, an hour later, Nik came.
They took a few days to prepare everything, the siblings all arrived but they did not see Ingrid anywhere as she did not have the hollow inside her as they did not want that for her but they stood there when suddenly they could not move and Ingrid walked out with a sad smile looking at her siblings who looked confused then they saw the look of determination on her face before they saw the sad look of Vincent and Freya faces but where confused about what was going on.
Vincent and Freya started the ritual and they felt the hollow being forced out but what they did not see was it all going into Ingrid but the moment it was finished Elijah, Nik, Kol and Rebekah all fell to the floor before thry could look at Ingrid she sped out of the room with the white oak stake.
Freya and Vincent started to prepare for the ritual to bring Hayley back as per Ingrid request, Nik looked around and realised he did not feel the hollow at all then looked at the witches who were preparing for another ritual but then looked around and realised that Ingrid was no longer there when it clicked what Ingrid and Freya had done.

"No."

He whispered in horror before speeding out the door, he used his wolf sense of smell to find his little sister but he was fast and the smell already vanishing, he had not realised Elijah was following, they looked around the city but could not find her till they got the park  and saw her plunging the white oak into her chest with a smile.

Ingrid looked over as she felt the life leaving her and saw her older brothers looking at her in despair, but she smiled at them and said goodbye before she burst into flames.
It was a matter of seconds but she ashes started to scatter to the winds so they could not be used again and with her death and that of her sireline Vincent and Frey brought back Hayley who also wept for the youngest Mikealson.
It was with her death that brought the family closer together and enforced now more than ever 'Always and Forever'.

Ingrid was suprised when she found herself in a familiar forest, one she had not seen in over a thousand years then she looked down and saw herself dressed in a favourite blue dress with her small dagger her father gave her, she smiled and started running through the first when she came to the waterfall and saw someone she had not seen since he died.
