SN:  REPUTATION! WHAT DID YOU DO?

I went downstairs to see every Era around Lover.

Rep: Okay, what the hell is going on?

Lover: You know what you did, Rep.

Rep: What did I do?

I was really confused.

Red: Did you cheat on Lover with your ex, Karma? Evermore mentioned seeing you with her.

I looked at a super mad Lover.

Lover: HOW COULD YOU?

I wanted to die right in front of them.

Fearless: Yeah, we can't believe you, Rep. 

I ran out and flopped on my bed. I just stared at the ceiling, thinking.

🩷 Lover 🩷

I watched Rep run off and Folklore came up to me.

Folklore: Lover....before you say anything, Rep didn't cheat. That picture was a while ago, when her and Rep were actually dating.

I looked over at the other Eras.

Fearless: Lover, you better apologize to Rep right now. 

Lover: Okay, okay! 

I knocked on her door.

I knew what I had to do. I didn't want to live anymore.

Rep: I can't live in this house anymore, Karyn. 

I was looking at my collection of knives.

Rep: K-Karyn, save my memory.

I picked up the sharpest knife. Thoughts flooded my brain. I just couldn't think of anything other than bad memories.

Lover: Reputation?

Lover knocked. I couldn't even breathe.

Lover: I'm coming in!

I didn't want Lover to come in. I was leaning onto my desk, trying to control my heavy breathing. 

Lover: Rep? 

Karyn was hissing at Lover.

Rep: L-L-Lover, h-help.

Lover: Reppy, just breathe, it'll be okay.

I was shaking, holding on to the desk and Lover's arm. 

Lover: Reputation. Rep! 

I felt dizzy.

Lover: Reppy, stay with me here. 

I wanted to die, leave the earth forever, but I knew I had to stay for Lover. I just collapsed in Lover's arms.

🩷 Lover 🩷 

Rep passed out in my arms. I laid her in her bed, making sure to get Karyn by her feet, and cleaned up the mess.

Lover: Reppy, I love you to the moon and Saturn. Forever and always, if you know what I mean. 

I looked at Rep, then Karyn, then Rep. 

Lover: Karyn, do you ever feel regret? I wish I was a snake, they have easier lives, right? I mean, all you do is slither and eat mice. Don't tell Rep, but I hate the fact that you ACTUALLY eat rats, Karyn, even though you're a SNAKE.

I stroked Rep's hair gently. Karyn slithered across the room. 

Lover: You know Reppy needs us, right, Karyn? 

Karyn hissed.

Lover: Okay, fine! I'll stay quiet! 

Fighting with a snake was not on my to do list. I carried Karyn back to where Rep was and she coiled around her neck.

Lover: Karyn, that is NOT a good idea, but go ahead.

I didn't think I would be having a conversation with a snake.

Lover: Reppy? 

Rep started to wake up, her hazy eyes opening.

I saw Lover. She instantly kneeled beside my bed.

Lover: Rep, you okay? 

I felt like I was being suffocated by Karyn.

Rep: Lover....get Karyn off my neck. 

I felt a really strong headache. Karyn coiled up in my armchair. 

Lover: Do you need some painkillers, Rep? 

I nodded.

Rep: I guess I owe you an apology, Lovy.

Lover just played her song Afterglow.

Lover: That's my apology, Rep. I'm sorry for not believing you. 

Rep: I'm sorry for being such a mess. I understand if you want to break up with me.

Lover looked shocked.

Lover: I'm not breaking up with you, Rep.

She grabbed me by my neck and kissed me, our lips touching.

Rep: So, we're okay?

Lover: Yes, we are! 

I smiled. She took my hand. 

Lover: I will always be there through these times.

Rep: Until I'm okay? 

Lover: Until we're okay.
