Typically when people think about the statement "Without you." they're thinking about a lover. But... have you ever thought of a relative? I'm sure some of you did. At least. I mean sure I've had my romances in my life but the phrase "The season changes without you" didn't make me think of a lover at all. It made me think of– well never mind...
"Misato? Misato! You okay?" I snapped out of my trance to hear my assistant Xan Yun calling out my name. "Huh?... oh my apologies..." I responded quietly. That same weird empty feeling lingering inside of me. Xan Yun had a worried look on his face. His rose gold hanfu glimmering in the sun.
"Are you okay my lord?! You were spacing out to the point you were almost dissociating!" Xan Yun exclaimed. This boy was too caring for his own good...
"Don't worry about me... I know how to get out of a dissociation episode. Anyways, what were you talking about?" i said in
A nonchalant matter. The young boy pinched the bridge of his nose, deciding not to push any further since I was too stubborn to even budge.
"I was speaking about how the Emperors daughter is feeling sick and-"
I interrupted. "which one?"
Xan yun stopped talking and hesitated a bit to responded. "Bao Chen."
I perked up a bit when i heard her name.
"the one i bumped into?"
"Yeah..."
"The one with the attitude?"
"Yes my lord-"
"Oh."
silence filled the air. Shit that same empty feeling lingering inside of me... I decided to speak up to take away the awkward silence filling the air.
"Tell him ill be there soon..." muttered to Xan Yun quietly.
Xan yun nodded, bowed and left. I sighed.. " なぜ私は立ち直れないのですか...あなたの死はずっと前のことです。" I said to myself looking at the new lotus flowers blooming... Spring has arrived.
