My phone kept ringing. Doyoon was calling. After fixing my mascara i finally picked up, his 5th failed call attempt.
"Sorry baby, I'm almost done. Are you already here?" i said.
"I'm almost there. I thought you were ready! What do I have to do with you." he sighed through the phone.

As soon as I hung up I heard his car approaching. I ran to get my shoes.
I almost forgot the house keys, I was in a hurry. It was my first date since... We broke up. This had to be perfect. No more mistakes.
I locked the door, passed the stairs and here he was. Doyoon was waiting at the entrance, in his car.
"Baby!" he shouted as he saw me. I walked to him and hugged him.

After like 10 or 15 minutes we were at the bar, the one where we met. He told me to enter first, that he had to grab something first.
"These are for you." He said as he was walking to me, with a bunch of flowers in his hand. Roses.

It couldn't be. This was so wrong. Why? Why roses? Why did he have to buy me roses? Why? Couldn't he buy me, i don't know, tulips? Lilys? Anything but roses.

I couldn't believe it. I was too stunned to say anything. As he handed me the flowers i started shaking. I almost started crying.
"Are you okay? Haeun, what's wrong?"
I couldn't look at him.

"I'm sorry."
That's the only words i could say.
I threw the flowers on the floor and ran outside, Doyoon after me.

"Baby what's wrong? Are you okay? Please tell me!"
He sure was worried. How could i explain it to him?

"Doyoon, I'm sorry. But..."
"But?"
"Please don't buy me roses ever again."
"What's wrong with them?"
I had to tell him. But it sounded so stupid in my head.

"Haeun, breathe. It's okay. Let's sit and you can explain everything."
We sat, and I started talking.

"You see, before you... there was, this guy. He used to buy me roses every time we met. We started dating, everything went well, until i found out something big about him, something he never told me. We got into a fight and broke up. That's why I really can't stand roses."
"Oh baby, I get it. May I ask... who was this guy?"
"His name was... Jaehyun. Jeong Jaehyun."
His eyes widened.
"Are you talking about THAT Jeong Jaehyun? The singer? Jung Jaehyun from NCT?"
"Exactly. Him. Yes. I used to date a celebrity. And i didn't even know. That's why we broke up."

You don't need to know how the rest of the night went. Nothing worth to say. Just the fact that I couldn't stop thinking about him again. Damn, Jung Jaehyun, will you finally go away and leave me alone?

As I got home i texted Garam and Jiwoo.
