Day 11 (SE3 : BI)

New Modifier : Black Ice

The temperature in the Hunger Games arena drops to below negative seventy degrees celsius, and all the water freezes over. The land is enveloped by snowfall and it continues to rain frost flakes down all day.

-Shelly and Spike shiver in their camp, lighting a small fire that can barely keep them warm through the icy temperatures

-Leon, Jessie, Nita and Bo seek refuge in their underground base, their main camp completely snowed in due to their open "windows" and door. They huddle together for the warmth, waiting for the day to end as soon as possible

-Barley and Bea quickly drag in all their food and water outside, covering themselves up in a little pillow fort to provide warmth

-When the ice modifier began all of a sudden, a large chunk of hail pelted Bibi, rendering her dead-and really bloody

-Brock and Squeak, with their cavern flooded by snow rolling in through the main entrance passage, sit in the snow, shivering from the overwhelming cold

-Penny and Darryl stay in their camp to avoid the freezing black ice

-Rico, Carl, Jacky, 8-Bit, Maisie, Fang and Buster completely block their cave with the large boulder to prevent cold air from seeping in; they light a few fires to stay warm

-Edgar and Colette wrap themselves up with their covers to maintain their body heat, still shivering from the unbearable cold

-Hank and Frank train outside in the freezing weather as a form of military training and preparation for "any possible situation"

-Grom and Ash hide underground with R-T to avoid the icy chill above

-Unluckily, Amber and Willow's new underwater base is affected by the Black Ice spell. Amber notices icy fingers reaching towards them through the water, and is barely able to melt it away with her flames before it freezes them inside. She then melts off some of the ice so that Willow can manipulate it with her trident and use it as a barricade to prevent the ice from reaching inside the cave again. Amber then sets three fires in front of the water wall to keep it warm and stop it from freezing, then a dozen more all around the cave for warmth

-Sprout, Eve, Pearl, Belle and Sam construct a large fort with wooden branches, pillows and duvet covers and hide inside it for warmth, shivering from the agony-inducing icy temperatures

-Gus, Chuck, Janet, Stu and Bonnie all sit by the fire Stu lit with gasoline and dry wood, huddling together to survive the icy temperatures

-While Byron and Lola hide in their camp to avoid the cold, Mr. P, already used to such chilly temperatures, rolls around on the snowy hills and makes snowmen since there's nothing else to do for the day

-Lily and Doug hide in their small base, praying that they can make it through the day successfully. Unfortunately, Lily gets her wish in a way-unable to survive the icy wind blasting them, she dies of hypothermia at the temperatures of negative seventy degrees celsius

-Clancy makes a few final treatments to his injury before he tends to Kit, who continues to remain unconscious, for numerous days already, with frozen blood covering his body. Clancy fears Kit had passed from too much blood loss, but remains unsure as he is unable to tell immediately. So far, he could still feel a weak pulse-perhaps his imagination-and decides to continue treating Kit's remaining injuries, which have left two or three scars from the healed wounds, and two more open ones getting closer to healing

-Meg works on arranging all the stocks she has, shivering from the cold

-Charlie wraps herself and Draco in a thick, insulating layer of spiderwebs for them to continue their work. Although Draco dislikes the feeling of the spiderwebs, he pushes on, knowing it'll help him live in the end

-Otis shivers from the cold in his small base

-Mico and Melodie are snowed in by the snowballs that pelted them from their underground base's exits, leaving them freezing in the midst of white

-Chester provides Moe and Kenji with spicy sweets to keep themselves warm (yes it actually works in real life or maybe its just the placebo effect)
