3rd POV

A few moments after the dropship shook, a boy came down to ask what had happened before going back up.

Clarke was stitching up Finn when Rowan decided to go upstairs. She tells Abby and Jackson to let her father know she is okay before climbing the ladder. She pushed the latch open and Drew stood in her way. "Move or I'll punch you in the throat." She shoved him before moving to the grounder who was now chained up, familiarity striking her. "You shouldn't be up here." Bellamy said, walking towards her. "Since when do I take orders from you?"

He placed a hand on her arm but pulled away. "Why are you burning up?" Rowan just shrugged, taking a few deep breaths before glaring at Bellamy. "Is this really necessary? You didn't have to kidnap him." He didn't say anything. Instead, he handed the journal out to her. "What is this?"

"It's his. They've been watching us since we got here."

"I wouldn't put it passed them. This is their home. Not ours. Not anymore at least." Rowan said, taking it in her hands. "What happened to your hand?" Rowan rolled her eyes at his concern. "Ship shook while Clarke took the knife out, we fell and I accidentally grabbed the knife instead of Clarke's hand." She said while flipping through the pages, her hand now wrapped in cloth.

One was a drawing of their camp and tallies on the page next to it. The next caught her off guard. A portrait of Octavia. "Flip the page." Rowan looked at Bellamy before reluctantly moving to the next page.

It was her. It was her from the day of the first acid fog. The drawing was drawn from her right side, her bow raised with an arrow ready to shoot. The detail was amazing, she thought at least. Her long brown hair that reached her mid-back, the detail of her jacket, the rips in her jeans, her concentrated face.

She looked up to the grounder to him already looking at her. "It was you." She said out loud and as if understanding her, he avoided eye contact.

"What are you talking about?" She turned to Bellamy, the book still in her hands, wiping sweat off her face. "That day when y'all came back from the acid fog and I had gone missing. I jumped in the water after... I fully expected to die there but someone jumped after me. I was able to see their face before I blacked out."

"And you think it was him?" He pointed to the grounder with a questioning look. "I don't think it was him. I know it was him."

A raging headache came rushing and she almost lost balance, holding onto Bellamy as Rowan held her other hand to her temple. "You okay?" She nodded, handing him the book before walking behind and sitting on a box. "I think I need more sleep." The grounder followed her with his eyes. He shifted making the chains rattle and making them look at him but he was only looking at Rowan with what looked like concern.

They dismissed it as Clarke came up and spoke to Bellamy while Rowan had her head in her hands. The grounder didn't look away from Rowan. He knew what was going to happen to her.

While Clarke and Bellamy talked, Rowan was feeling worse. Her skin felt like it was on fire, her mouth was really dry no matter how much saliva she swallowed, her vision was almost completely blurry, her head was pounding and it was getting harder to breathe.

Clarke left when Raven called for her and Bellamy closed the hatch after her departure. It was only a minute after that Clarke came back, banging on the hatch that Rowan fell to the ground and started seizing.

"Rowan?!" The boys ran to her shaking body on the floor, white foam spilling from her lips. Bellamy held her head to prevent her from banging on. "Miller, let her in." He quickly got up and opened the hatch. She moved Miller away and didn't hesitate to rush to Rowan. "Not you too." She whispered as she flipped Rowan onto her side.
