London's pov, 24 hours before the coffee.
The sweat trickled down my face, as i took another step.
When i'm mad i tend to run, or exercise to control my anger.
But i've been running for two hours and it's completely dark outside.
Finding out what was inside of that box literally shocked me.
I opened the front door and scanned the room, my parents were sitting down in the living room talking to my grandparents.
"When did you come out your room?" My mother asked as i walked through the front door.
I raised my eyebrow at her.
She motioned me to take my earphones out.
Oh right i was still listening to music.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" I asked.
"Never mind that, have you been running?" My dad asked.
"Yeah, had to get something off my chest."
He nodded.
"Well it's time we head to bed." My grandmother stated, while getting up from the couch.
My grandfather followed her out of the room and upstairs to the guest bedroom.
"What's on your mind?" My mom asked.
"I opened the box." I said, while walking towards the kitchen. I needed a glass of water.
"The one your biological mother left you?" My dad asked.
I nodded.
"What was in it?"
"I have a twin brother, and his name is Landon, apparently he got adopted at birth and inside that box explained everything and had his number in it."
"Oh, wow." My mom said in shock.
I smiled at her before taking a sip of my water.
"You should meet him." My dad reasoned.
"I already reached out to him, we're going to get some coffee after school tomorrow."
"If thats fine with you guys.." I added.
"You've never met each other before, or even seen each other in person. Seeing him alone is a really big step." My mom stated.
"Liz come on, it's her brother!" My dad argued.
"Yeah but that isn't really safe, she doesn't know the dude."
"What's so bad about it?"
My mom rolled her eyes at him. "Her mother was a drug addict for all we know she could be setting her up!"
"Babe, stop jumping from A to Z. Its not that serious." He raised his voice.
"Don't babe me right now. Do you not realize how dangerous this is?"
I looked from my mom to my dad.
"You will come straight home from school tomorrow, nothing else. Am i understood?" My mother stated firmly.
