It was yet another Saturday morning, the birds were singing and the sun was shining.
I had a feeling today was going to be a good day.
I got up and did my skincare, hair, bible study and workout exercises.
School was about to start back in 2 months and I've been dreading the day it comes, life as a junior wow.
Where have all the years gone.
I glanced over at my calendar: "LAST DAY OF PT."
My phone went off with Cody's ringtone.
"Hi my love."
I smiled.
"Hello stranger."
"Facetime me i want to see your beautiful face." Cody said.
I did as he said.
"How are you feeling?" I asked, as i started my makeup.
Just a simple little makeup routine nothing full glam.
"Like rainbows and sunshines." Cody replied sarcastically.
"Haha, very funny." I glanced at the camera.
He was lying down in bed, his eyes with bag underneath them.
"Have you been sleeping?" I asked, concerned.
"Yeah, i've just been getting up in the middle of the night throwing up." He said.
He continued. "And guess the best part."
"Hm?"
He lifted the camera to show me his shaved head.
"OH MY GOSH CODY." I gasped.
I covered my mouth so i wouldn't make too much noise.
"Calm down love, it's okay it'll grow back eventually."
"I got you a little gift. To show you how proud i am. of you" Cody added.
My mouth lifted into a smile. "You didn't have to."
"Yes i did, I'm your boyfriend. I'll give you your gift after PT."
"Oh, my dad is taking me today." I mentioned, while spraying my setting spray.
"Why?"
I heard the sadness in his voice.
"I don't know. He told me last night at dinner that he was going to take me."
"But i don't have a problem taking you."
"Remember the doctor told you it's not safe for you to drive." I stated.
"You can drive and i can tag along." He reasoned.
"His mind is made up and i don't want to argue with him."
"Can you come over afterwards?"
"Cody, my mom's gender reveal is tonight remember?"
