The Mystic Journey (Sonic Au)

Chpt 2: A newcomer

It's had been awhile since they had left the previous temple

Now everyone except for Ardeo is doing their own things while they wait

Zane is writing a letter, Sonia is training with Amy, Tails is learning how to do mech stuff, and Blaze is looking up datas about their destination

The ship stopped at a temple with the symbol of sun and moon below them

"Kids! We're here!" Ardeo called out, and they soon stopped at what they're doing

"Soo, who'll go?" The general asked "how about some two of us will go there?" Sonia suggested

"Great idea" Ardeo said, Sonia then turns around before asking "Soo, who'll go?" "I will!" Zane said "alright, and then?" Sonia asked, needing one more member

And Tails raised his hand, "are you sure kid?" Sonia asked making sure "yes!" Tails answered

"Alright, let's go!" Zane said as he took Tails's hand and got outside the door

Both Zane and Tails were inside the temple

There were many murals of the *** goddess and the Moon goddess history

But one particular yellowish goddess face were wiped off or had been destroyed

While Zane looks at the murals, it gave him a really weird feelings, but he brushed the feelings away easily, luckily Tails didn't know about it

The both of the were walking deeper into the hallways

Zane then felt something weird behind him

He quickly summoned his bow and arrow, as he shots the arrow

The arrow then hits on a certain demon that was about to attack them, sending them back

Zane then shields Tails with his hand

"Go! I'll hold them off" Zane said as he ordered Tails to go find the crystal while he keeps the demon busy

"But-" "GO!" Tails sighed and nodded as he runs away from the scene to find the crystal

Zane makes sure that Tails were nowhere near him and the demon, then he put up a defensive stance

Tails was running straight

Tails then went to find something in his bag

He then picks up a device that's given from Ardeo

He then turns on the device, the screen showed a small map, but still effective

He then followed the map's direction

Tails had been running for a while

He finally reached the finish line of the hallways

He took a small break from running

Tails looks behind, there were noises of battling, but the sounds isn't loud so it's quite hard to notice it

He then looks up, there were symbol of the sun and the moon, the temple were splitted, one is day which the sun appears, and the night which the moon appears

And at the centre there was a tall stone once again

It was surrounded by shooting stars

And on top of it there's a yellow and purple crystal merged together, and below the crystal there's a sun and moon that's attached to the crystal

Tails then quickly explores the place, while trying to find a way to get on top of there

Tails had been looking around for a moment, he then noticed something weird on the wall in the night's side that looks out of place
