Tails's walking along the road to meet Amy in her bakery
He left school 5 minutes ago, so why not bother to come and visit the bakery
As Tails was walking, he too was looking at the scenery of the city, it was a bit crowded, and vehicles drove along the road
Tails then noticed a bit of a glitch from the alley Infront of him, but he shrugged it off, thinking it was just his imagination as he kept moving on

A bell rang Infront of the bakery's door
Tails then went up to the counter, the being behind the counter is a mech that Tails created
He ordered some mint cookies while he waits for his friend, Amy
Minutes later, Amy finally showed up, she then spotted her friend from a table, Tails is seemed to be eating alone, as he reads a paper
"Tails!" She called out, which grabs the attention from the said fox
Amy then sat at the empty seat Infront of Tails
"What are you reading?" Amy asked curiously
"Oh, it's nothing. It's just a school paper" Tails answered as he closed the paper and puts it inside his bag
"Y'know, it's kind of weird that years ago something like this didn't happen, and they just appear now?" Amy mentioned of the past events
"Thought I'm the one who realised it" Tails joked, earning a deadpan from Amy
Then a rang from a device is heard from Tails's bag
He then picks up his phone from his bag
And an unknown number was video calling him from his phone
Out of curiosity he answered it
And a familiar lavender cat is on the screen
"Hello, Tails" Blaze greeted
"How'd you-" Tails asked as he got cutted off
"How'd I got your number? Did you forget what are we working at?" Blaze asked teasingly
"Anyway, is something around you that feels off?" Blaze asked seriously
"Hmm, for starters I think there's sometimes duplicates, but I don't think there anymore duplicates now, oh! Also I saw a bit glitches on an alley, but I think it's just my imagination" Tails answered
"Why are asking? Is there something bad happened?" Amy asked as she went up right next to Tails
"Yes. Well maybe" Blaze responded as she sighed before explaining
"The phantom ruby is gone. Before you asked what it is, a phantom ruby is a strong power that holds the manipulation of virtual reality. The phantom ruby takes control of every beings visual and depth perception to feed false information to their brain, creating a new reality for them and creates visual projection that have mass and form to interact with the world around them"
"First, why did you have it? Secondly, how is it gone!?" Tails asked as he rose one of his eyebrow
"First question; we stole the phantom ruby from its owner, because he used it for evil. Second question; some two invaders came to the station and stole it, not really, it's just fell and disappeared" Blaze answered two of his questions
"We're currently, trying to find out where the thief and the phantom ruby is. And on top of that tell me if something off is around again" Blaze said earning a nod from both mortals
Then Blaze closed the video call
"Alright, we must keep our guards up" Amy said

"Any clues?" Blaze asked the trio of an alligator, chameleon, and a bee
"What we found is that they're from the organisation of G.U.N, and we found none of where the phantom ruby are" the alligator spoke
"We found no information about G.U.N, but what we do know that their goals is to protect this planet from all sorts of threats" the chameleon said as he steps Infront
"And why would they stole the phantom ruby, do they not know how dangerous it is!?" The child alike bee said as he crossed his arms while he pouts
Blaze sighed before saying "thanks for your information, the three of you will now be dismissed" she said in gratitude
The trio then left the cat alone, as she went on to find more information
Then the group finally met up Infront of the cat
"Found it?" Blaze asked
"No, buttt, I think I know where they and the phantom ruby might be" Sonic spoke
"Wait, how!?" Sonia asked surprisingly
"I have my ways. And that means.." Sonic said as he glared at her
"I'm better than you~" he whispered
"You little-!"
"Alright stop!" Blaze ordered, "now that we know where they might be, we should go!" Blaze said as she got up
"Quick question, should we invite them?" Zane asked
"They'll decide to go along or not" Blaze answered
They then went to their ship
Blaze then touches her gem on her forehead, and a red hologram showed up, then she contacted Tails, again
"Greetings, Tails, Amy" Blaze greeted, and both Tails and Amy greeted back
"Do you want to go on a journey with us again? I'll not be asking again if you don't want to" Blaze asked the both mortals
"Sure! Why not" Tails spoke
"We would love to help a friend!" Amy said
Blaze nods with a smile on her face
"Alright then, Sonic!" She called out, grabbing the attention from the blue hedgehog
"Would you mind teleporting Tails and Amy in here?" Blaze asked which Sonic responded her with a 'fine'
Sonic then summoned a sigil in the centre of the ship
Appearing both Amy and Tails on top of the sigil as it disappears
"Yo! We meet again!" Zane said with a smile while he sat on a chair and wrote a letter, again..
And both of them waves at him
Tails then realised something, "wait where's your general?" He asked, curious where's Ardeo
"The higher ups are on a mission far away" Sonia responded while her eyes are locked in to the hologram Infront of her
"Alright, no time to waste" Spectre spoke as he took control of the ship, the ship then blasts of into the sky

"Is that your friend you spoke of years ago?" The white bat asked the black hedgehog, and they're currently sitting around a bonfire, it was night time
"Was" he corrected her "he was my friend" he mumbled
They both stopped talking for a minute, then the black hedgehog opened his mouth "Let's make this quick. They might be on their way to find us, Rouge"
"I know i know, give me a break will ya?" The said Rouge spoke
"And we also gotta find the phantom ruby, right?" Rouge asks earning a nod from the black hedgehog
"Good thing we could escape back at the station, right Shadow?" The said Shadow only rolls his eyes
