The Mystic Journey (Sonic Au)

Chpt 3: G.U.N

The group is currently on training, like usual, and they're training the mortals how to fight

While the girls teaches Amy about defence, while the boys teaches Tails about stealth and to perfect aim

As they're all done training, they just talked with each other, some of them. Some were looking up information, and some are doing their own things

Hours had past. They were playing a waiting, Sonic leaned on a wall beside the window, Blaze helped Spectre with the control panel, Sonia cleans her sword, Tails and Amy talked with each other

Sonic then noticed something below them through the window, he then went to face the window, as he observes an island, which has trees covering most of it, and a large mountain with red glowing cracks around it

"Uhh.. guys i think i found where phantom ruby is" He called out, which took everyone's attention, so if the phantom ruby might be there, then the thiefs should be there to

Then they went ahead to land on the island

They then went to investigate the strange island

Unfortunately they found nothing

Currently they're in a cave with a cliff at the end

Then Sonic heard a branch being stomped from below

He then went out to check

Then two familiar intruders came from the trees

They were busy talking and is distracted, they kept on getting closer from below

Then a lightning spear came rushing towards them, fortunately and unfortunately the both thiefs dodges it in time

"Well well well, look who we have here?" a voice is heard from the top of them, they then looks up to see

And it seems like Sonic was the one who attacked them, he's currently sitting on the edge of the cliff with one of his legs as a support for his arm

"What the hell do you want?" the black hedgehog asked sternly "ohoho, ouch, are you going to speak to me with that tone?" Sonic asked teasingly as he began to chuckle

"Answer the damn question." Shadow spoke up again, not changing his tone

"You know damn well what do i want" Sonic spoke as he smirked and stares into Shadow's eyes

"If it's a fight, then bring it on"

"Feisty eh? well then, games on–"
Sonic spoke as he got up but was cut off by a child's voice

"Sonic! would you mind helping me with this!?" Tails's voice is heard from inside the cave as he yelled

Sonic then deadpans, and two thirds were a bit confused on why the hell is a kid here

Tails are getting impatient, he then rushed towards the blue hedgehog

"I said, would you mind helping me with this!?" Tails said as he pointed out a strange information with a weird language

Sonic then turns around, as he sighed, "can't Spectre help you?" Sonic asked, "uhh, about that, he turned off, and he wouldn't wake up. Trust me i tried everything!" Tails said nervously as he scratches the back of his head

Sonic's eye twitched in response, both thiefs were confused, Shadow noticed that Sonic's distracted, he then summons a red spear towards Tails

Sonic then quickly grabs the spear mid air, stopping it from hitting the fox child

"Sneak attack huh?" Sonic says as he sends the spear back towards the thiefs, and they managed to dodge it

"Tails, go find the others, and bring Spectre with you" Sonic managed to say before he went ahead attacking the thiefs below them
