Oh great more arguing.
"Aut, please!" Reece's voice was desperate, almost breaking. "Someone needs to save her, please! I can't do it by myself!"
Autumn folded her arms, looking frustrated. "Get someone else to do it, Reece. I'm not your only option."
Reece's voice grew more urgent. "The only people strong enough to handle this are you and Mia, and she definitely won't—"
"Mia won't do what?" Mia's voice cut through the room as she stepped in, her expression cold and her eyes locked on Reece.
Reece froze for a moment, caught off guard. He turned slowly, seeing the determination in Mia's eyes and the tension in the room seemed to thicken.
"Marjorie ran out into the blizzard, and I can't find her," Reece sighed, sounding defeated.
Mia rolled her eyes. "No way I'm doing that."
"And that's why I didn't ask you," Reece snapped back, his voice tight with frustration.
"She said it was my fault he left, Reecey. I'm sure you remember all those times I cried in your arms, blaming myself?" Mia's voice was sharp, but her eyes betrayed a hint of the hurt she was trying to hide.
Reece's expression softened with guilt. "I'm sorry," he mumbled, looking away.
"Aut, please," Reece pleaded, his voice breaking. "I need someone to do it. I get you're mad at her; I am too, but we can't just let her die."
"She deserves to," Mia mumbled, arms crossed.
Autumn rolled her eyes. "She shouldn't have run away, Reece."
"I know, but she did, and we need to save her or she's going to die!" he shouted, his desperation filling the room.
"Fine, whatever, I'll go," Autumn muttered, grabbing her coat and a gun before heading for the door. "Why did she even run away? Trying to play the victim again?" Mia scoffed, crossing her arms.
Reece hesitated, his face conflicted. "I... because..." he trailed off, unable to bring himself to say exactly what Marjorie had said. "I don't know," he mumbled, avoiding Mia's gaze.

Autumn's thoughts raced with anger as she stepped out into the cold.
Why is he making me do this? Marjorie needs a fucking reality check after what she said to Mia.
She clenched her fists, frustration boiling inside her.
The Mia I looked up to. The Mia I saw as a mother figure. The Mia who I saw break down, blaming herself for everything. The Mia who cared. The Mia who loved. The Mia who was manipulated.
She tightened her coat, feeling the sting of the icy wind.
This is the last time I'm doing something for her,
