"Boss?" A voice called, knocking tentatively on the door.

"If the job isn't done, I don't want to hear it," Stella's voice sliced through the silence, cold and direct.

"Uh...well, no, boss, we have, but...yeah, uh..." the voice stumbled, clearly unwilling to push further.

"Move," Stella's assistant said curtly through the door. "Boss, they're here. And we have someone for you," she added, waiting for permission.

"Come in."

The assistant stepped in, with Siobhan trailing close behind, her posture tense and uncertain.

"Hello, Siobhan," Stella greeted, rising from her desk, her gaze unwavering.

"Hi..." Siobhan murmured, blinking back tears.

Across the room, Ella sat in silence, her thoughts tangled with fear and confusion.

Stella's gaze shifted to her. "I'll be right back. You stay here," she ordered, her voice unyielding. Her heels struck the floor sharply as she left the room, the sound fading into silence as the door clicked shut behind her.

"Is anyone missing?" Stella asked her assistant as they stepped into the elevator.

"They counted nine, so that's everyone, boss," the assistant replied.

Meanwhile, the captured group sat anxiously, a tall man entering to announce, "The boss will be here soon." With a sharp click, he shut the door, leaving them in the dark room.

Moments later, Stella opened the door, casting a sliver of light into the room as her assistant switched on the overhead light, momentarily blinding them all. Stella's gaze swept across the group.

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight..." she counted silently, her brow furrowing. "You said nine," she snapped at her assistant.

"There were nine, I swear..." her assistant stammered, glancing around nervously.

"You counted Siobhan?" Stella asked, her tone sharpening.

"Uh..." The assistant hesitated.

Stella rolled her eyes, exasperated. "Where's Amelia?" she demanded.

"I... I don't know, boss. She wasn't there," the assistant answered, her voice barely a whisper, bracing for Stella's reaction.

"What do you mean you don't know?" Stella's voice was razor-sharp, and the tension in the room thickened with her words.

Her assistant, clearly terrified, swallowed hard, her voice shaking as she stammered, "I'm so sorry, boss... she wasn't there... we searched the whole house."

Stella's gaze bore into her, cold and unyielding. "Go."

The assistant backed out swiftly, her face pale, leaving Stella alone with the group. Stella's eyes roamed over each face, calculated and relentless, until her stare settled on Charlotte.

"Where's Amelia?" Stella demanded, her tone like ice.

Charlotte's heart raced, confusion and fear flashing across her face. She could barely find her voice. "Who... who are you?" she whispered, almost to herself.

Stella took a step closer, her voice rising, cutting through the silence with eerie calm. "Where. Is. Amelia?"

"We don't know," Reece interjected, his voice firm, though there was a faint tremble in his voice, a hint of uncertainty.

Stella's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean you don't know?" Her tone had a deadly edge, each word sharp, impatient, as if she could hardly contain her rage.
