Lloyd's pov:

Even though the room was busting with voices and chats, Lloyd couldn't help but feel the weight of his silence.

After his talk with Kai and the entrance of his sister, a few hours passed by before everyone had gathered back in the headquarters to get informed and start a plan. Everyone but Jay and Zane, who were in the med bay or coming back.

By the time Lloyd had come back, Kai properly introduced him to Nya. However, that was quite short as the rest of the team started to fill in. Arin and Sora were chatting between them and occasionally engaging with Lloyd. Kai and Nya were talking with Cole and Wu around the empty center table.

That left Lloyd with Morro, which basically left him alone as none wanted to talk to the other.

Lloyd glanced around, his brows furrowing slightly.

He didn't know basically anyone here, and he was supposed to lead them on confronting the baron? It was clear they all had more experience than him, what was he supposed to contribute?

He sighed lowly, hoping to remain in the shadows and unnoticed by the others. As if it was synchronized perfectly, the door then opened and in came Zane and Jay.

"Hope we didn't make you all wait too much" Jay joked lightly, debuting his new and fresh bandages that covered the wound on his head.

Lloyd breath out silently, he still felt guilty for that, for even thinking Jay was the enemy when all he did was help him.

"About time" Nya said with a smile as she hugged Jay, breaking the chain of thought that was starting to take Lloyd away.

The chat soon started again, and Lloyd couldn't feel any more awkward. He took a deep breath and stepped forward, taking a place around the table.

He cleared his throat, trying to get everyone's attention but only gaining an unimpressed look from Morro before he ignored Lloyd again.

Lloyd sighed and was ready to talk again when a voice interrupted him.

"Alright everyone" Kai said firmly, walking towards the table and in front of Lloyd.

"Let's get to work, we didn't come here just to chat" he said, nodding at Lloyd.

Everyone started to gather up and the chats stopped, all eyes went to Lloyd. He quickly glanced back at Kai and nodded thankfully to him. At least someone else had heard him.

"Right..." Lloyd said, his mind trying to find a way to explain everything.

"So, we all know that the baron has something up. There's been an increase on the elementals being brought here and the attacks in the Dark lands." Lloyd started, trying to gather himself.

"My father, Garmadon, thinks that means something. And it might mean a war is coming sooner than we expect" he let out, gaining some murmurs from a few members of the team.

"Which is why we need to act quickly and see this ends before it begins" Cole added.

Lloyd nodded at him. "Exactly"

"Yeah" Sora chimed in, her arms crossed over her white suit with blue and pink details, the same color as her hair that was up in a ponytail.

"But how exactly are we going to stop something we don't even know what it is?" she asked, making a point.
