Lloyd's pov:

"Come on, please" Lloyd's eyes locked in the silver bracelet he had on. Ever since he was left in the dungeon, he had stopped his shift and went back to his normal form. Hoping it could help the bracelet work.

He was sitting on the cold rock of his cell; in the darkest corner he could find. The light of the fire didn't manage to break directly into his prison, but it didn't give him a lot of shadow either.

He had been trying to make the bracelet work, hoping it would get him out. But with vengestone so near, it looked like it's power had drained out. The toxic purple rock no longer shined like it used to, it just looked like a piece of glass.

Lloyd sighed as he let his head fall. His chest tightened and he could feel himself tense up. There had to be a way to get out. His cell had no window with bars to see the light of day. Neither did the others count with a different view, Lloyd had already checked. Just darkness and the orange light of fire.

He didn't know how long it had been since he got there. But it seemed like it had been hours, and still there was no sign of the blue boy Lloyd had thought was his friend.

And to be honest, he wasn't sure if he wanted to see him. Lloyd still tried to figure out why Jay had destroyed the communication device. It was their only way to get help, and now there was nothing. What if it was all an act? And right now he was laughing with the knights from before at how easily he deceived Lloyd into coming here.

He might as well have been a hunter, just playing with him as Lloyd fell right into his trap. Jay said it himself; hunters were difficult to identify. They could be anyone, why not him? His plan worked after all.

As if on cue, a dry sound of metal echoed in the place. The metal door that led to the prison opened and the sound of footsteps and something being dragged filled his ears. He quickly stood up and came closer to the bars to see three figures coming in. Knights, and it looked like they were carrying something else.

Between the two of them, was the motionless body of Jay. His head hung and his hair covered his face, but it was clear he had been hurt. Bruises decorated the rest of arms and a bit of his face as he was dragged in.

"Jay?" Lloyd asked, his voice slipping in a whisper at seeing the boy. The guard at the front was the same one from before, he walked past Lloyd and opened the door of another cell opposite side from him. The other two dragged the body in, one just let it drop off as the other one held one arm and set him on the floor more gently.

None said a thing, the soldier just slammed the door shut after his teammates had come out.

"Finally, the Baron really went hard on him" a guard with grey hair said as he stretched his arms.

"Yeah" the girl agreed as her eyes fell on Jay, who didn't move from his place. She had raven black hair, but her face was hidden from Lloyd's eyes as she didn't turn back.

"Come on, we have to get back to work." The spiky haired one said, his eyes going back to the other while getting the attention from the girl.

"Ugh- I have to patrol the cameras" the grey-haired boy complained while starting walking out with a groan.

"I'll cover you" the girl interrupted, making her teammate stop on his track. "But you have to take my turn outside" she said with a grin as they all started walking out.

"Better than be stuck in there, deal" he agreed while stretching his hand for the other to shake.

"Good to see you enjoy work" spiky-hair said while rolling his eyes and walking between them. They all got out and shut the door, leaving Lloyd back to himself.
