Serenno was truly a beautiful planet. It was hard to see, due to the low amount of light, but Kiv could tell it was beautiful. When she had first been on the planet, she didn't have quite the same appreciation for the beauty of it.
It was a lush planet, covered in plants upon plants upon plants.
Kiv placed her hand on a tree, lowering herself down next to it. She placed her hands on the ground, crossing her feet underneath her.
She shut her eyes, letting the peace and darkness settle over her.
The planet was covered in life. Kiv could feel every last plant, animal, or clone on the surface. She could feel the force flowing through everything. It was amazing.
Kiv cried out in pain, falling to the ground beside Dooku.
"Master?" She called out, to no response.
Her eyes shot open. Dammit. Every time.
Kiv screwed her eyes shut again, allowing peace to fall over her.
There was Hunter, whose energy was dark, but soft and gentle. Caring and cautious. And next to him was Wrecker, large and demanding, yet filled with a child-like innocence.
The sounds of fighting resumed. Kiv could only guess that Obi-Wan had lunged at Dooku, who had simply responded.
She attempted to sit up, placing her arm underneath herself and pushing up, but cried out in pain. God, it hurt.
She didn't want to look at her shoulder, but she could imagine it was scorched from the saber. Kiv opened her eyes, catching a blurry glimpse of her Master in combat with Dooku. Her eyes began to flutter shut.
No.
Kiv pulled her focus back to her surroundings. Dooku was dead. He couldn't hurt her again. She knew Dooku was dead. Anakin made sure he was.
Anakin... she remembered his voice with that ventilator. She remembered how he killed Dooku in cold blood.
Kiv shook her head. Could she not go two seconds anymore without thinking of some terrible life event? Is this what her life had come to?
SNAP.
Kiv's head shot to the side. It was nearly pitch black, the only light source coming from the moon.
She slowly rose to her feet, cautiously looking in the direction of the noise.
She felt something shift in the force behind her.
Her hand slowly lowered to her lightsaber.
Kiv took a cautious step forward, but as her foot hit the ground, a massive, green, scythe-like claw shot out from behind her.
"Shit!" She yelled, igniting her lightsaber quickly.
She held her saber out towards the creature as the rest of it revealed itself to her.
"Great," she muttered, taking note of the species. An acklay. The very creature that her master had to fight on Geonosis, back when Anakin was still his padawan. She remembered that day.
Kiv turned to the creature, holding her saber carefully. She didn't want to actually hurt the creature, but she couldn't draw attention to herself.
It glared her down, hissing at her.
She furrowed her brows before un-igniting her lightsaber and placing it back into her hilt.
Kiv put her hands out in front of herself, slowly edging closer to the creature. It cocked its head at her slowly.
