"What part of not drawing any attention did you not understand?" I asked in all seriousness. I was losing my fucking mind and the semester hadn't even started yet.

"What?" she asked oblivious.

"Josephine!" I exclaimed, "The wig is fucking purple!"

"No," she waved her fingers through the strands of hair "it's lilac it's more subtle"

"Do we have another one?" I asked Aphrodite who shook her head negatively. I closed my eyes and pinched my nose exhaling.

I was not to solve this with anger.

Civilized.

Through talking.

"Josephine" I opened my eyes and she gulped looking at me with big doe eyes. "Run!" I threatened and she took off throwing the wig on the couch.

I turned to Aphrodite "We could dye or cut your hair if you want. But honestly, I think the contacts and the prosthetic will be fine."

"No we are not touching my hair" I grabbed the wig and untangled the few knots.

I looked in the mirror. Green eyes and a petite French nose formed my new face. I looked at the wig through the mirror and placed it over my braided hair.

Oh, what a cute purple f-

Don't you dare finish that sentence

-ur ball

If only I could strangle you.

"It's not that bad" Josephine peaked around the door of the bathroom.

I glared at her through the mirror and she sheepishly smiled.

Lilac hair and green eyes. That's who I turned into.

Maisy jr.

Oh fuck of you twisted bitch.

I heard her laughter echoing in my brain.

I promised Roman I would start attending classes at NYU this semester. And to my luck, all the classes I had were all theoretical ones that I could take online. Which made my life easier by a mile.

But even if that was the case I still had to be careful of being recognized. Rose, Levi, and the triplets would be in New York as well. Which could complicate things if any of them recognized me.

"let's just go" I deflated. I wasn't against colored hair. But the point of keeping a low profile definitely didn't entail lilac hair that reached my waist in loose waves.

There weren't many options so basically I just had to suck it up.

I had a pair of white jeans on and a black long-sleeved fitted top that covered all my tattoos. The chunky rings covered my finger tattoos especially the one on my middle finger. I couldn't have Rosalyn recognize that.
