Not long after Reece took his final breath, sirens began approaching the mansion. Mia went to lead them inside but also to warn them about what they were about to see. There were three dead bodies and a lot of frantic staff members. It was not a pretty sight.
Vivian was the first one to enter the living room. She was shocked at the sight of Siobhan taking control of the situation, “Bon-Bon, It's okay I'm here now. You can go put the guns down.” Siobhan backed away and put the guns down on the coffee table before she immediately burst into tears. Vivian wanted nothing more than to go comfort her but she had to remain professional.
She walked up to Sorscha who had already turned around with her hands behind her back. She knew that there was no getting away from this situation. Vivian handcuffed Sorscha and gave her the mandatory speech “Sorscha Doyle you are under arrest on suspicion of 6 counts of murder. You do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defense if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.” Vivian then handed Sorscha off to the uniform officers and she could finally figure out everything that just went down at this tragic staff party.
While Vivian was arresting Sorscha, paramedics had entered the room and immediately went to check on Autumn. She was doing really well despite the gunshot wound, she needed to get to hospital though because that could change at any given moment.
Autumn was strong, everyone knew she could make it through this. Winter gently helped her to stand up so she could go to the ambulance. As she laid on the stretcher clinging to the blood soaked towel on her arm, she looked over at Reece. Tears continued to flow down her face as she thought about her loving and protective brother. She would trade places with him in a heartbeat.
A very nervous Winter first went to check on Marjorie before he followed Autumn to the ambulance. He felt awful for her, he couldn't imagine if it was Autumn that was just whisked away in a moment. He understood her pain. “I will be okay Winter, Deliah is staying with me. You go look after Autumn.” she smiled through her tears. No matter what she was currently going through, having the love of her life stolen from her, all she wanted was to try and reassure Winter, “Autumn will be okay, she's strong Winter.” Winter smiled back at her and quickly rushed to the ambulance.
Marjorie burst into tears once again as soon as Winter left the room. “Would you like a cuddle Marjorie?” Deliah said softly, she knew Marjorie didn't like her but she didn't care. She wasn't Dangerous Deliah, she was a scared little girl deep down. Marjorie nodded at her and accepted her embrace. She needed comfort as she sat beside the dead body of the man she was supposed to grow old with.
After a while, everyone needed to leave the mansion. Vivian allowed them to stay there for longer than she usually would because of how frantic everyone was. Hand in hand everyone slowly made their way outside. Deliah and Mia were practically helping keep Marjorie upright, if they didn't support her she would probably just drop to her knees. Siobhan and Eric both made their way outside too and as soon as they did paramedics brought out the bodies of Janice, Roger and Reece.
They were all on stretchers with a sheet covering them. Crime scene tape was then promptly put up, everyone looked around at eachother as this happened. It was almost a non verbal promise that none of them would ever set foot in Ratty Roger's mansion again.
Everyone had to go down to the police station and give statements. They all had to explain exactly what they had just witnessed and relive every moment. It was gonna be hard but this was the start of this horrible ordeal coming to an end.
