The battle had been tougher than you expected. By the time it was over, you were left with a deep cut on your arm and several bruises that made every movement painful. You tried to brush it off as no big deal, but the pain was harder to ignore than you anticipated.

As you stumbled into the dorms at Tokyo Jujutsu High, you hoped to sneak past everyone and patch yourself up without causing any worry. But, of course, that plan was ruined the moment you ran into Megumi Fushiguro.

He was leaning against the doorframe of his room, looking as calm and composed as ever. His dark eyes immediately locked onto the bloodstain on your sleeve, his expression darkening.

“Y/n,” he said, his voice low but firm. “What happened?”

You hesitated, knowing how protective Megumi could be. “It’s nothing, really. Just a scratch.”

Megumi didn’t buy it for a second. Without saying a word, he stepped forward, gently but firmly taking hold of your injured arm. He pulled up the sleeve to reveal the deep cut beneath, his frown deepening.

“This isn’t just a scratch,” he muttered, his tone laced with concern. “You need to get this cleaned and bandaged. Now.”

You winced as he examined the wound. “I was going to take care of it. You don’t have to worry.”

But Megumi wasn’t listening. He was already leading you down the hall toward the infirmary, his grip on your arm gentle but unyielding.

Once inside, he grabbed the first aid kit and motioned for you to sit down. You watched as he calmly set out the supplies, his focus entirely on the task at hand. There was something reassuring about the way he handled the situation, as if he’d done this a thousand times before.

“Hold still,” he instructed, his voice soft but firm as he began cleaning the wound. Despite the sting of the antiseptic, you found yourself relaxing under his care.

“You really didn’t have to do this, you know,” you murmured, watching him work. “I’m sure I could’ve handled it.”

Megumi glanced up at you, his expression unreadable. “Maybe. But it’s better if you don’t have to do it alone.”

There was a quiet intensity in his voice that made you feel strangely comforted. Megumi wasn’t one for grand gestures or flowery words, but his actions spoke volumes. He cared, even if he didn’t always say it outright.

As he carefully bandaged your arm, you noticed the way his hands moved—steady, precise, almost like he was afraid of hurting you more. The room was quiet, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. It was the kind of silence that felt safe, like you didn’t need to fill it with words to understand each other.

When he finished, Megumi sat back, inspecting his work with a critical eye. “You’ll need to take it easy for a while,” he said, his tone leaving no room for argument. “No training until this heals.”

You nodded, a small smile tugging at your lips. “Yes, sir.”

He gave you a look, the slightest hint of exasperation in his eyes, but there was also something softer there—something almost affectionate. “I’m serious, Y/n. Don’t push yourself.”

“I know,” you said, your voice sincere. “Thanks, Megumi.”

He didn’t respond right away, but there was a faint flush on his cheeks as he turned away, busying himself with cleaning up the supplies. “It’s nothing. Just… be more careful next time.”

You couldn’t help but smile at his awkwardness. Megumi wasn’t great at expressing his feelings, but you knew he meant well. He cared in his own way, and that was more than enough for you.

As you stood up to leave, he hesitated for a moment before speaking again. “If you need anything… don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll be around.”

You nodded, feeling a warmth spread through your chest at his words. “I will. Thanks again.”

With a final nod, Megumi watched as you left the infirmary, his eyes lingering on your retreating form. He knew you were strong, but that didn’t mean he’d stop worrying about you. And while he might not say it outright, he’d always be there to support you—quietly, steadfastly, just like he always had.
