I look over at the injured man. He's been shot in the upper arm and thigh
The wounds aren't life-threatening, but they're apparently painful, if the man's loud groans are anything to go by.
I don't have a lot of patience for people who can't endure pain. I consider being a nurse for a few minutes, but I would've made and awful one.
The injured man sits in the middle while the puppy looking girl sits by the door. She looks at me as I glanced at the injured man.
"Never see a man got shot before?" The puppy looking woman said
"I've seen some. Never one that's so whiny over a flesh wound, though." I said then The puppy looking girl laughs. The injured man glares at me, but says nothing.
"Nice empathy there. Hope you're not a mother." The puppy girl said
"A mother? Never" I said as the puppy girl talks to the two at the front.
"Piettro Park needs to pay for this. He thinks this is his territory he even take alliances with the Japanese. If we don't teach him otherwise, he'll walk all over us" The puppy girl said
"It's time we assert ourselves." She added
This girl can't be more than twenty five and she's talking about killing people. Then the girl in the passenger seat stares at her, but says nothing. They're obviously one of The Kkangpae. (A/n: Kkangpae means: Mafia, gangster, mob or thugs)
Maintaining control of territory is very important to the mafia families. It's also at the root cause of most of the murders in their organization.
These ladies are obviously mafia...but which family are they from?
"So why'd you save me from that guy? Why not just leave me to be killed?" I asked
"You wanted us to leave you to die there?" The girl who looks like a cat said
"No. But why save me? I'm a completely stranger to you" I said
"More Bodies, more questions." The cat girl said
"I didn't know Mafia's cared about the body count" I said
"You're making a lot of assumptions" The cat girl said
"But you are mafia, aren't you?" I asked
"I never said that." The cat girl said
"It's obvious" I said
"Make your own conclusions, then. You seem to know everything" The cat girl said
"What's a girl like you doing at the pier so late?" The puppy girl suddenly asked
"I had some business" I answered
"You with the police? You don't look like it" The puppy girl said
"Maybe I am" I said
"I can't believe the Park's think they can butt into our business Piettro must have a death wish." the puppy girl said
The driver who I didn't even think was listening turns around and looks at the youngest of the group. When I see her face properly, I know, I know it from somewhere
But who is this girl? It's obvious she's the boss here. But she's so young.
"Minjeong, shut up." The Driver said then I think a bit I know this girl is familiar to me. She's not a rogue member of the Park's, that much I know. These ladies must be part of a rival family.
The car turns and passes through a massive security gate protected by four armed men.
Where are they taking me now?
