Taehyung's hands trembled as he wiped away his tears.
"So, she was Kim Sohyun... now she's Jungkook's secretary," he scoffed, his eyes welling up again.
He thought about everyone calling him names and wondered what he had done to deserve it.
He hated the Alpha for the disgusting name he had called him, and he had avoided Jungkook like the plague for years. But here he is, sitting in Jungkook's house, crying like a baby.
"It's just for a few months... I'll be okay... I'm not a sl*t," he mumbled to himself.
In times like these, he would usually call his eomma, appa, or Jimin to calm him down. So, he grabbed his phone with shaky hands and scrolled through his contacts. But just as he did, someone knocked on the door.
He startled, wiped his eyes, and made his way to the door. When he opened it, he found Mrs.Jeon smiling at him.
"Hello, dear!.. Did you sleep well?" she asked.
"Yes, Aunty...When did you come back?" he asked, looking at her.
"I just arrived a few minutes ago... Where's Jimin?"
"He went home"
"Ohh... Come downstairs. I brought you many things from my hometown" she said excitedly.
"Okay... I'm coming," Taehyung followed Mrs. Jeon to the dining table, where the maids were serving dishes. They bowed at him as he sat down, and he began to eat slowly, though he wasn't in the mood. He didn't want to disappoint Mrs.Jeon.
"Sweety, try this! ...It's delicious!" she said, placing a dish in front of him.
"What is it?" he asked.
"It's from my hometown. You'll like it. ..Just try it" she said with a warm smile.
"Thank you, Aunty," he replied, returning the smile.
He took a bite, and his forehead furrowed in distaste.
This smell
He stopped eating.
"What happened, dear? ...Why aren't you eating?.. Didn't you like it?" Mrs. Jeon asked, looking sad.
"No... it's good... I'm just full, Aunty" Taehyung replied, apologetically.
"Okay, but please eat at least two pieces" she insisted.
"Okay..." He forced himself to eat two more pieces from the dish. Mrs.Jeon smiled , looking at Taehyung, and began to eat her food.
