Taehyung's chest heaved as he lay on his bed, gazing at the ceiling with a small smile on his lips. His heart still racing, his cheeks flushed as he replayed the moment over and over in his head.

The door creaked open, and Jimin slipped in, a sly smile spreading across his face.

"Still thinking about your alpha?" Jimin asked.

Taehyung's cheeks flushed a deeper shade of crimson as he hummed, a sheepish grin spreading across his face as he looked at Jimin.

"My baby is all grown up and in love!" Jimin exclaimed, clutching his heart and wiping away fake tears dramatically.

Taehyung giggled, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Yes, Eomma!.. I'm not your baby anymore!" Taehyung said, smacking Jimin's head playfully.

"Yah!" Jimin laughed, gazing at the younger's infectious giggles.

"But... what happened between you and Jungkook?... you two were at each other's throats just yesterday." Taehyung asked curiously.

Jimin's expression softened.

"Ah... that" Jimin let out a sigh as his mind replayed the conversation he had with Jungkook.

"What was that ?" Jimin asked, his voice low and even, but laced with a hint of warning.

"What?" Jungkook asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.

Jimin's frustration simmered just below the surface, his eyes blazing with a mixture of anger and protectiveness.

"I don't know what you're trying to do, but if you're playing with Taehyung's feelings, I won't let you take advantage of him" Jimin said, his eyes narrowing.

Jungkook's frown deepened. "What are you talking about, Jimin?"

"I saw everything, Jeon," Jimin replied, his voice firm. "I saw the way Taehyung looked at you, the way he... cuddled up to you."

"Jimin-" Jungkook started to say, but Jimin cut him off, his voice laced with a mix of concern and protectiveness.

"I know him more than he knows himself," Jimin said, his eyes locked intensely on Jungkook's.

"He's not the kind of person who lets just anyone invade his personal space. But he let you,"

Jimin's expression softened "I saw him smiling so happily when you're with him. He looked more at peace than I've seen him in a long time."

"I'm sorry if I'm being rude, but I don't trust anyone when it comes to Taehyung-" Jimin said, his voice laced with protectiveness.
"......I won't let anyone hurt him-"

Jungkook's expression softened, his eyes filled with a genuine sincerity.

"Jimin, trust me," he said, his voice low and gentle. "I could never hurt Taehyung. He's... important to me, and I would do anything to protect him."

"Let me finish," Jimin said, his gaze fixed on Jungkook .

"To be honest, we haven't always gotten along. but I know you're not a bad person. And I know I don't have any right to intervene in Tae's life, but... I've been looking out for him for as long as I can remember."

"I'm just a maid's son, but I grew up alongside Tae, taking care of him, following him everywhere... He's more than just a friend to me.... Tae's like a little brother to me."

Jimin's expression turned stern. "If you're playing with his feelings, I'm warning you, stop it now."

"I understand your concerns, Jimin, and I respect them.But I love Taehyung with all my heart," Jungkook said, his voice filled with emotions.
