The days drifted by, their love grew, capturing the attention of the entire country and becoming the center of every conversation.

Jisuk walked towards Soyeon's room with a sense of unease. His eyes widened as he opened the door.

Soyeon stood in the middle of the room, her face flushed with anger, her hands trembling. Her sharp eyes glared at the shattered picture frames and scattered books around her feet.

The room, now looked like a storm had passed through it.

"What happened?!... Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.

She didn't even look up, fists clenched, jaw set in anger.

"Are you living under a rock?" Her voice was sharp, every word laced with frustration.

Jisuk stepped forward. "Is it because of Jungkook and Taehyung?" he asked hesitantly.

Her jaw clenched so tightly that her teeth ached, and her fingernails dug into the fabric, leaving small crescent shaped imprints.

She had spent weeks--no, months--telling herself to stay calm, to keep her composure.

To pretend.

She had smiled through dinners where Jungkook and Taehyung sat too close.

She had bit her tongue every time Taehyung's name left Jungkook's lips with affection.

"It wasn't supposed to be like this" she mumbled angrily.

She had tried to ignore the boiling fury in her chest. Every time the anger rose, she had forced herself to pretend.

She had spent her life in control-of her family, of her home, of Jungkook. But Taehyung's arrival had shattered everything.

Tonight had been the breaking point. She had tried to hold it together, but the photos of them on the social media had tipped her over the edge.

"It was not supposed to be like this.....It should not!" she shouted, her voice trembling with anger.

"Calm down soyeon-ah. Don't forget who you are. We'll win this time too..." Jisuk said, looking at her and pulling her into an embrace.

"I know what I am...... I'll destroy everything..... I'll kill that bitch..." she said angrily, seperating herself from the hug.

"Why should I keep pretending?" she whispered to herself, her voice low and venomous.

"Why should I suppress what I feel?.. This is my family... Jungkook is mine...He is my son..And I won't let that omega destroy everything"

Soyeon decided she wasn't going to hold it back anymore. Without another word, she stormed out of the room.

Jisuk let out a sigh, looking at the retreating figure of Soyeon.

Soyeon reached Taehyung's door and knocked on it with fury, her fist pounding against the door.

Taehyung opened the door slowly, confusion written all over his face. "What-"

"Get out of my son's life!" Soyeon spat, her eyes blazing with disgust.

Taehyung's brow furrowed, his heart racing as he tried to comprehend the situation. "What?"

"I said--get out of my son's life!" she shouted again, her voice trembling with fury. "I don't like you!"

Taehyung's gaze didn't waver as he met her angry eyes. His expression remained calm, but there was a flicker of something dangerous beneath the surface.
