The morning sun peeked through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room. The previous day's events lingered in your mind as you sat up, still reeling from the aftermath of your outburst. The TV had just been replaced after yesterday's incident-when you used your Kaiju powers and fried the appliances. No one knew what had caused the electronics to malfunction, and the technician who came to replace it had been kind enough to leave you with wishes for a speedy recovery.

You waved goodbye to them with a weak smile, feeling a pang of guilt. 'I'm sorry,' you thought, your mind replaying the scene of the appliances short-circuiting. With a sigh, you finally reached for the remote, turning on the new TV. Almost immediately, the screen displayed a news broadcast that made your heart skip a beat. Kaiju No. 8's face filled the screen, followed by a question mark over an image of an unknown Kaiju, and then the Hammerhead Kaiju you'd encountered at the exam site.

Setting the remote down, you picked up a glass of water, hoping to soothe the sudden dryness in your throat. The water did little to help as you heard the news anchor's voice ring out,

"Kaiju No. 9. This Kaiju has been given a codename following #8. It appears to have emerged after six years of silence, since the catastrophe of Kaiju No. 6. The Siren has returned."

You choked on the water, your eyes widening in shock. 'What the... Did I transform in my sleep?!' Panic surged through you as you tried to piece together the events of the previous night. You knew you shouldn't have been able to transform-not after taking the anti-transformation pill.

Then you remembered the red pill you had taken to boost your human strength after (Y/Bff) had tormented you. Everything after that was a blur-a dreamlike state where you felt trapped in memories, stuck. 'That means... I...' The realization was chilling as you continued to listen to the news.

"The kaijus has gone into hiding once again. The Defense Force is continuing its investigation into this monster, as well as its connection with #8."

You couldn't bear to listen any longer. Grabbing the remote, you turned off the TV, your mind spinning with anxiety. 'My Kaiju form has been revealed to the public again. This could cause an uproar... and might even weaken the curse I placed on the Defense Force six years ago.' Frustrated, you smacked your face with your hand, the weight of the situation pressing down on you. You knew the Defense Force's database was nearly impossible to tamper with; it kept real-time information, and you couldn't erase any trace of yourself from it. 'But it seems they haven't taken any action against me yet,' you thought, glancing out the window at the peaceful, sunlit day.

Yet, the yesterday's memory of Soshiro seeing your Kaiju form gnawed at you. You had no recollection of what happened after you passed out from exhaustion on the battlefield. All you remembered was being trapped in Kirine's memories.
