(Alyssa's P.O.V.)
When I regained consciousness, I found myself lying on the road unharmed by blast. I sat up and faced the fiery remains of the gas station. Then, I heard a whisper behind me "Alyssa.... " I turned to find T and Simone lying in their own pools of blood. I saw T lying dead on her back with her gun in her left hand and a bullet hole in her forehead. I then noticed Simone lying on her back as well, her hands held against her ribs as she struggled to breathe.
But before I could crawl my way over to her, I was surrounded by darkness. I felt hands on my arms and legs as I felt a terrible pain on the side of my head. The more I struggled, the more they forced me down. Then, I heard voices over my screaming "Hold her still!" and "Damn it stop struggling!". What are they doing?! Did they kill T and Simone!?
Then everything went silent, but I still couldn't move. I was back at the gas station facing T and Simone as they stood over my body trying to revive me. Suddenly, I saw a group of people pile out of the forest and shot at them without warning. Simone was the first to be shot in the stomach and fell limp next to where I lied as T took out her gun, but was shot in the forehead before she could pull the trigger.
Never have I screamed so loudly than just now. "What's going on? Why is this happening?!" Are they really dead? Am I dead? Or am I being punished for killing them because of the explosion that I caused?"You did this. You've got no one to blame but yourself, now your alone" Theresa?
"How could you do this?! This is the most selfish thing you could've done, now look what you've done!" Simone?
"Why didn't you come back?! We were waiting for you! How could you not care about you own family!?" Dad?
Am I really alone?
