Morgan and I sat in the waiting area at the hospital, waiting for some kind of update

Morgan and I sat in the waiting area at the hospital, waiting for some kind of update. First of all, we needed to know if it was Harry they found and if he was alive. Morgan greeted other people in the waiting area, whispering to me who they were the family of.

"That's Oscar's wife. They just got married a month ago," she whispered and patted her chest as if that would calm her own breaking heart. I felt horrible for every single family member, waiting in the same room as us, unaware of their loved ones fate.

We were in contact with the guys and Alli, who had been asked to wait at home. Only immediate family was allowed and Morgan had fought tooth and nail for me to be allowed to stay, since apparently fiancés weren't considered immediate family.

Hours passed by, and Morgan and I cuddled up in our chairs and drifted between being asleep and awake. Every time the doors to the huge waiting area opened, every person in the room sat up straight, looking anxious to know if the news was of their person. We watched people break down and cry, wailing for their lost ones, begging the doctors to take it back, that it couldn't be true.

The piercing wail of Oscar's wife made both Morgan and I sob. She fell to her knees and cried, while someone I figured was her mother, tried to support her. There weren't words for the pain that filled the room, as the young newly married, now widowed, woman was led to another room.

My heart ached for Harry. The fact that we didn't even know if he was one of the people, who had been saved from the ruins only made me feel increasingly anxious. The loud click as the doors automatically opened and a doctor emerged, wearing scrubs, carrying a clipboard, snapped me back to the moment. He looked around the room, while he scanned the papers on the clipboard. I felt uneasy, trying to sit up more straight as his eyes landed on me and Morgan. He walked towards us and I grabbed Morgan's hand, squeezing it so tightly it must have hurt her. The closer the doctor came, the harder my heart beat and the more anxious I felt.

"Stone? Morgan Stone?" the doctor asked, looking from me to Morgan.

Morgan nodded and tried to speak up, but her voice was caught in her throat, her nerves getting in the way.

"You're the sister of Harry Stone, is that correct?" the doctor pulled a chair over, sitting down in front of us. We had seen doctor after doctor sitting down with the families in the waiting area, and each family had reacted the same way; pure heart break.

"I am," Morgan croaked the best she could, her voice worn and strained from crying the entire day.

"Good," the doctor said, as he checkmarked something on the clipboard. "And you?" he said and looked at me. He had kind eyes, but I couldn't tell if he was there to inform me of something horrible, or something miraculous. In other words whether the love of my life was dead or alive.

"Peyton Brooks. The fiance," I said, my voice not much more than a whisper.

"Is it Harry?" Morgan blurted out, looking at the doctor with big eyes.
