I rested for a while in the afternoon, when Peyton went home for some things I needed. I was feeling giddy after our little make out session, but also very tired. My head hurt, so I got a nurse to come and give me a little more for the pain. Peyton put her hand on her hip and looked sternly at me, as if she was about to scold me for doing something that made my head hurt. She was so goddamn adorable when she narrowed her eyes at me, and I could only smile at her attempt to scare me.

"Okay, I'm heading out," she said and stepped closer to the bed when the nurse walked out of the room. She leaned in and kissed me tenderly on the forehead. "Rest, Harry. It's not a suggestion, it's an order."

I chuckled at her and nodded. "Of course, love. Hurry back here and cuddle," I said, earning me an extra kiss before she left.

I laid in the dark room, blinds shut, lights dimmed and all machines were set to silent, so they didn't disturb me. My head was throbbing, but the medicine was making its way around my veins, soon to hit the spot that hurt the most. I was exhausted. Touching Peyton, and being touched was worth every headache though. My chest and stomach swirled with butterflies at the thought of her moan when she came. If that sound could be played at my funeral, I would have it written down in my will. I drifted off to sleep and actually slept really well for once. Headache or not, there was a different sense of tiredness in my body. A satisfied one.

I woke when I heard the door to my room open, expecting Peyton to come in. Instead Morgan peeked in the door to check if I was awake.

"Hey Morgs," I said with a rusty voice from sleeping.

"Hey, oh you're sleeping, would you like me to come back later?" she asked calmly, but there was something about her expression that made me sit up slightly. She looked tired.

"No, come in, what's up? You look... beat." I grimaced at the look on her face.

She sighed and came over to sit next to my hospital bed. "I need to talk to you. It's kinda serious. It's about mum and dad. I don't know if now is the time or if I should maybe come back in the morning, or..." she trailed off, but I shook my head determinedly.

"Tell me. The two of them are a shared burden, sis." I gestured for her to spill whatever she needed to tell me.

She exhaled deeply and seemed to need a moment to steady her nerves. "I went to court today," she said and bit her lip while looking at me, as if she was expecting me to blow up in her face for not telling me that she was going through legal trouble. Instead I tilted my head and gestured for her to continue.

"I've been sparing you all the shit that's been going on, and I didn't mean to keep it from you. My intentions weren't malicious, I hope you know that?" she squeezed my hand and her voice almost cracked as she said it.

I nodded. "I know. I know you just want me to get better."

"I do. I really do. But I also want you to be happy," she sniffled and wiped her eyes with the sleeve of her blazer. I looked down at her outfit. She looked like a business woman from the 1980's in a rather conservative pant suit with shoulder pads.
