Chapter 1

It was a new beginning.

Autumn Evermore was attending Hogwarts for the first time, but she wasn't a first year. Obviously she did receive her letter when she was 11, but her and her identical twin, Daisy, were homeschooled util they were 14, because her parents wanted to teach them the basics of magic themselves. But now, that they were both 14, it was time to grab their robes and trunks, and board the Hogwarts express. Her and Daisy sat in an empty compartment talking, when a blonde, almost white haired girl busted inside.

"Hi, I'm Luna. Are you new?" She asked dreamily. The girls looked at each other and Autumn said: "Yeah, we were homeschooled, but we're gonna attend our 4th year at Hogwarts. Wanna sit with us?" Luna immediately accepted, and they talked all the way to Hogwarts. They also learned from Luna about the 4 houses and the charachteristics of each house. She said she was a Ravenclaw, and Autumn thought it explained well her dreamy personality. Talking and talking, they were at Hogwarts, and it was time for the Evermore twins to be sorted in their houses, along with the 1st years.

Entering the great hall, Autumn caught her breath. It really was beautiful. The ceiling was magnificent, enchanted to resemble the night sky, with thousands of candles floating around.

And while she was captured by the ceiling, she did not notice that the sorting was beginning, and before she knew it she was under the sorting hat.

"Ummm, let's see... very ambitious, could be a Slytherin, also very sweet, but not as mucha s a Hufflepuff, extremely brave, but not stupid, maybe a Ravenclaw?" The sorting hat said. "Ok, I know!" Autumn Evermore, you are a...
