Autumn and Draco's relationship blossomed in the month leading up to the summer holidays, so much so that they decided that Draco would be spending one of the six weeks of holiday at Evermore manor with Autumn.
In the meanwhile, Daisy and Blaise got together too, and also Daisy was gonna spendere a week at her lover's house. Everything was good and everyone was happy.
Until Cedric died. And Potter said the Dark Lord was back.
The day it happened, Autumn was on the stands with Draco, cheering for Cedric, when Potter came out of the giant maze and screamed at the top of his lungs "Voldemort is back!" In that precise moment, Autumn felt Draco, who was sitting next to her, freeze in shock. Hours later, in the piano room, he still didn't speak a word, and she was starting to get worried.
Later in the piano room...
"Come on Draco! Tell me what's wrong! So I can help you!" she screamed in frustration. Draco looked at her and took a deep breath.
"My parents were Deatheaters"
"WHAT?" Autumn yelled in shock. "IS THIS A JOKE? BECAUSE IT'S NOT FUNNY!" she warned him. She immediately felt a pang of guilt when his eyes teared up and he started crying.
"I'm scared, Autumn" he whispered. She just held him tight and stroked his hair. After a while, he fell asleep, and so did she.
They still had tomorrow.
Skip to the second week of summer break - Evermore Manor
A with with the brightest smile and puffy red hair greeted him, after he got out of the fireplace. "You must be Draco! Autumn talks a lot about you!"
Draco smiled and was about to reply, when his favourite brunette walked down the stairs. "Mother, I do not talk about Draco with you. I talk with Daisy and you eavesdrop. There is a difference." she said laughing.
Then she launched herself in his arms, hugging him tightly. "So, Draco, are you hungry? You got here just in time for dinner" the twins' mother asked.
A few minutes later, Autumn, Draco, and Autumn's parents were sitting around the kitchen table, eating the lovely dinner Autumn's dad cooked. After dinner, Joel, Autumn's dad said: "I'm gonna go for a walk in the gardens. Join me, Draco?".
Draco nodded and stood up, slightly scared he was gonna be given the "Hurt my daughter and I will kill you speech".
Autumn met her mother's gaze and chuckled.
