Mikha Lim returned home that night, her body weighed down with exhaustion from the intense day at the bureau. The interrogation, the paperwork, and the relentless demands of her role had taken their toll. All she wanted was to collapse onto her bed and shut out the world for a few hours.

But as soon as she stepped into her condo, a prickle of unease ran down her spine.

Something felt off.

She instinctively reached for her M92 pistol, her heart pounding in her chest as she carefully scanned the room.

The sound of movement came from her bedroom, and she moved toward it cautiously, her finger hovering near the trigger.

She pushed open the door to find Stacey standing by the window with her pistol raised, equally startled. For a moment, they simply stared at each other, the tension of the day bleeding into this unexpected encounter.

They both lowered down their guns, relieved that it was not an enemy and put it back in their respective holsters.

Stacey looked up with a mixture of concern and familiarity in her eyes.

"Pagod ka ba?" she asked softly.

Mikha offered a tired nod, sinking into her bed.

The danger, the uncertainty, the raw energy of the job-they all seemed to culminate in that instant, driving them toward a familiar, yet complicated, solace.

Eventually, their proximity grew charged with an unspoken need, and they found themselves drawn together, their physical connection a balm for their aching souls.

Mikha looked into Stacey's eyes, seeing the internal hunger that mirrored her own.The intense, unspoken desire between them ignited, drawing them together in the heat of the moment. She watched in awe as Stacey undressed, her gaze fixed on the beauty before her.

The sight of Stacey's form captivated her, each detail revealing the grace and allure that Mikha had always admired. In that moment, Mikha felt a profound appreciation for Stacey's physical presence and the intimate connection they shared.

Without a word, they crossed the distance between them, their mutual understanding clear.

What followed was a release of pent-up emotions, a surrender to the physical urge that neither had the time nor the inclination to resist.

Their lips met in a heated kiss, and they quickly became lost in the moment, bodies intertwining as they gave in to their desires.

Afterward, as they lay entwined on the bed, Mikha ran her fingers through Stacey's hair, her mind already returning to the mission, to the risks they both faced every day.

"Mag-iingat ka palagi, sobrang delikado ng trabaho natin ngayon. Di natin alam ang mga bagay na posibleng mangyari" she murmured, her voice low, but firm.

Stacey propped herself up on one elbow, looking down at Mikha with a mixture of concern and defiance.

"You're one to talk Mikha. Lagi kang nasa front line, taking the biggest risks.Dapat ka ding mag-ingat, tignan mo tong sugat mo" Stacey said looking at Mikha's bandaged arm.

Mikha smiled faintly, brushing a strand of hair away from Stacey's face.

"We both know what this is, Stacey. Kung ano man meron tayo ngayon it's not more, it's not less. Pero it doesn't mean I don't care what happens to you out there"

Stacey leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Mikha's lips.

"Same here. But let's just... keep things simple. No complications, right?"
