Trigger warning: violence

The Other POV
The Knight sat in the dark room, her face illuminated by the faint glow of her laptop screen. The cold steel of the flash drive still in her hand, she inserted it into the port, her fingers tapping rhythmically as she accessed the files.
Each document was classified, sensitive, and dangerous in the wrong hands just the way she liked it.
The files on alpha team flashed onto the screen, each member's profile meticulously detailed, strengths, weaknesses, history. She skimmed through them with little interest. Colet, Sheena, Gwen, Jhoanna they were all formidable in their own right, but they weren’t the ones she was after.
Her finger paused for a second on Stacey's profile but then moved on.
Then she saw the name she had been searching for Mikha Lim.
Her eyes narrowed as she clicked on the file. A picture of Mikha appeared on the screen, her dark eyes staring back at her, strong yet haunted. The Knight leaned in closer, intrigued.
"El Diablo" she muttered to herself, amused by the code name.
She scrolled down, reading the information; Mikha Lim, elite sniper, trained under the FBI for 2 years. One of the Philippines prized marksman.Specializes in long-range combat and precision strikes.
The Knight smirked, impressed despite herself.
"Not bad" she whispered, her fingers lingering over the part that detailed Mikha’s extensive sniper training.
The FBI had shaped her into a lethal weapon, but the Knight wondered if Mikha's focus was still sharp or if something else dulled her edge. She was curious now, more than she had been when this mission started.
The Knight clicked through Mikha’s record multiple successful operations, commendations for bravery, but something caught her eye,a recent psychological evaluation.
"Interesting..." she muttered, reading through the details. It wasn’t just Mikha's skill that intrigued her,it was the vulnerability beneath the surface. The loss of a former lover,Charlotte, haunted her. According to her intel she also have a deeper connection to Stacey, though only as a professional tie. But the Knight knew better. Her instincts told her there was something deeper there, something she could used.
"Magaling ka Mikha Lim" the Knight whispered to the empty room "but everyone has a weakness"
She leaned back in her chair, considering her next move. This was no longer just a job. Now, it was a game, a game where she held all the cards, and Mikha was her opponent.
She shut the laptop, her thoughts still swirling around the image of Mikha Lim.
The Knight stood over the chessboard, her hand hovering above the black knight piece. Her eyes narrowed as she analyzed the board, calculating every possible outcome. With deliberate precision, she seized the black knight between her fingers, a slow smirk playing on her lips.
She eyed the white knight standing in her way, an obstacle to her plan. Without hesitation, she swept the black knight forward, displacing the white knight with a swift, decisive move. The white knight toppled over, its significance erased in an instant.
"Check" she muttered, her voice low and brimming with satisfaction. She watched the now empty space where the white knight had stood, her grip tightening on the black knight as she visualized her next move.
