I'm truly sorry for not updating this past Friday. I was on vacation and had no access to my laptop the entire trip.
But, I wanted to go ahead and update this because I know some of yall have been waiting patiently.

"Girl, yesss. He got me a puppy! And he's so stinking cuuuute." I gushed over the phone while I talked with Jade.
"I saw him. He is a little cutie," Jade agreed, her voice warm with approval. But then she added with a teasing tone, "But... did I not see him talking about being called daddy?"
I couldn't help the soft smile that spread across my face. I felt my cheeks warm as I thought about Jey's comment.
"Yeah, you saw that right," I admitted, my voice tinged with both amusement and a hint of something deeper.
Jade's laughter echoed through the phone. "Oh, girl, he's laying it on thick! Y'all about to have some little Jeys Or Amahle's running around soon, I can feel it."
I bit my lip, glancing down at Mumble, who was curled up in my lap, his tiny body rising and falling with each peaceful breath. "You think so?" I asked, half-joking, but there was a part of me that couldn't help but wonder if Jade was right.
Jade laughed again, this time softer, more understanding. "I know so. He's crazy about you, and now he's dropping hints? Trust me, it's only a matter of time."
I sighed happily, my heart swelling with the thought of the future—whatever it might hold for me, Jey, Jeyce, Jaciyah and now Mumble. "Maybe you're right," I whispered, letting myself dream just a little bit more.
"But.. we got a wedding to plan first." I added, trying to keep my feet on the ground even as my mind raced ahead.
Jade practically squealed through the phone. "Girl, I can't wait for that! It's going to be beautiful. And after that, who knows? Maybe you'll be planning more than just a wedding," she teased.
