Palmerita had been shown that she didn't bothered to show love to Donnie and just casual hug as a friend. Even supporting Donnie is the only thing that she could do for him to season 2 about April while saying she's just a friend. Things will be shocking in season 3. In the near of the second episode of "A Foot Too Big", Palmerita had already stated that she saw the kiss from April and claims of admitting about the heart break while states that she won't be bothering them anymore while she got better things to do that Palmerita said she's just a mutant black backed jackal/alien/witch tribrid that she just need a friend and she'll get over it then walk away without looking back at them and anything. It's shown that Palmerita doesn't show any affectionate love to him at all after having twin boys. She had earned a "Singal and Loving it" style that Palmerita adapt to the situation.
