Melanie and I were on our way out of the hall. "So, where do we begin." I avoided locking eyes with her. She loved it. It made her more intimidating than she is.

"I will come over to your place to work on the dance steps. Next week we'll see how we can merge teams." She caught my eyes. She seemed to enjoy doing it.

"Okay. How is school going?" I asked nicely.

"When did you start caring about other people's study?" She paused at her locker. "My password is for me alone." Right, I hadn't realized I had been staring. I felt that comfortable already.

I noticed a picture of her and Melodie in her locker. I'm guessing it's recent. They were in make up. They looked crazy. No wonder she cherished it.

"I Heard a new student joined in." I asked as she closed her locker.

"The news of a new transfer student always spread like wide fire." She scoffed.

"He transferred from public high school to a universal standard international music and arts highschool in his last year. I wonder what he's like." I shrugged.

Daysman high was an international music and arts academy. It mostly consisted of foreigners, rich kids, celebrity kids. You can't just get your self a transfer from a public high, if you don't have cash and talent.

"You will meet him. Are you planning to ditch school?" She asked before walking into her class.

I walked to my locker. My brothers were still in the hall doing their usual round up. I picked the few books I needed and was about to close it, when I noticed my locker neighbor in a helmet.

I thought the Greek girl moved back to Greece after winning the contest she prepared for. "Hi Megan!" I greeted as I closed my locker. It was a male. My bad. Thank God my voice wasn't above a whisper.

He took off the helmet and kept it in his locker. He parked his long black silky mop to a bun. I hadn't seen his face yet. He took two mints or candy or bubble gum... I wasn't sure. Took few books and closed his locker. I could see his face.

He was handsome and with all description I have gotten from everyone. This was Drake Murphy.

Drake was my locker mate.

"Hi!" I greeted nicely holding out a hand for a shake. "I'm Erika." I was courageous, I heard rumors of him being a snub and I still did that.

His eyes wondered around the hall then to my hand then my face. He was as intimidating as Melanie. Digging his eyes into mine as he accepted the shake, he said "drake Murphy."
