Like I said earlier , I really thought I was getting a lot better. I had scheduled several interviews and outings for our midterm week, thanks to Mia.

But after last night, I wasn't sure if any of them could pull through now that Drake wasn't in town.

I had to be at a coffee date with Emily Vitra by 2pm. It's not meant to get me nervous but... I was.

Especially when my manager and crewmates were all hungover and finally woke up by 12pm.

I had hundred of things I could have done than to seat with aunty Maddie rewatching prison break all morning. But my brain was not... I had the medications prescribed so my body was ... My brain was knocked off till 1pm.

I hated it. I hated aunty Maddie more for not joining me in my attempt to wake Mia.

We rushed the preparations, even though I wasn't fully me yet, we were done by 1:15. We stopped by an eatery because of Mia had to eat.

Over these past weeks, I didn't really communicate with her much so being stuck with her for a whole day felt tensely professional and odd since she was my cousin.

"Can I ask something?" She finally broke the tension between us.

"Yeah." I placed my headset round my neck. "Sup?"

"Nothing... it's just" she heaved a sigh "what happened to us? This past weeks I feel like if you or something about you changed the way we used to be close."

"Mia." I chuckled slightly trying my best to figure out how to reply. "We are tight."

"Not as before. The you I knew when Maddie took me in after my dad's life sentence and the you after the accident feels like two totally different people."

My body tensed up. "What?" I chuckled trying my best not to overthink her statement.

"People change all the time I guess." I smiled. "But it's not that I changed change...I just want to figure out my life for myself.. it's kinda hard."

"Okay...I am here for you... I'm really concerned especially because you accepted my offer..."

"Five outings in a week is no big deal."

"It's seven." She clarified.

"Wow... I thought it was five."

I guess my relationship with people I care about was really affected.

"Hi everyone. It is me Vitra . I have a date with a dance queen. I can't dance so I opted for something cozy during this lunch break. A coffee date in my dad's latte store. Before we commence, hit the bell, give a thumbs up and rush down to "the vital " for a nice cup of coffee." Emily took a satisfying sup from the cup in her hand.

"I am here with my dearest Amerika. I can't believe I'm actually the first coffee date she has ever had aside from her brothers and parents. I am so honored."

Amerika was in blue baggy jeans and a white polo shirt. Her hair was parked in a high puff. "Hey everyone. I love the coffee shop Emily. The view from here is sweet."

"Thanks a lot. My dad's definitely gonna pay me for commercials." Emily chuckled lightheartedly.

"Hmmm... " Erika sipped from the cup before taking a piece of shortbread.

"So I am like your no 1 fan and I really want your signature on my phone pouch. When next I'm copying your mirror poses everyone would see it.".

Erika flushed as she took the phone to sign. "I also am a big fan of yours. You have hosted several artists on dates. You have also had tyla on a picnic date and she's one of my biggest inspiration in the industry."
