Rin pov

As Satoru starts explaining the concept of entropy and how his subspace manipulation works, I try to keep up, but it's like he's speaking an entirely different language. He's pacing back and forth in front of me, gesturing wildly with his hands, clearly enjoying this little lecture more than I ever could.

"See, Rin," he begins, his tone smug as always, "subspace isn't located in the physical world by any standard coordinates. It doesn't break the laws of physics it actually adheres to them in a way that's just a bit beyond conventional understanding. By overlapping portals that lead to nowhere, I've essentially created a subspace with no spatial or temporal structure. That means the mana there is infinite because it's not limited to the present. It draws from the past, the future, and even moments that haven't existed yet. In that space, time doesn't flow, so the mana never depletes."

I nod, pretending to follow along, but the truth is, I'm struggling to wrap my head around what he's saying. Archer, who's been quietly observing from the corner, looks like he's half-interested, half-amused. He's probably heard crazier things in his time, but even he's paying attention now.

"Artemis here," Satoru continues, gesturing to the superior spirit who's lounging nearby, "already has infinite mana since she generates it herself. She's a self-sustaining source. That's because I created a subspace within her core when she was born. Over time, that subspace has become an intrinsic part of her-she's not dependent on the world's mana anymore."

Artemis nods absentmindedly, clearly not too concerned about the technicalities. Her focus is still on her flames, but I can tell she's listening in.

Then, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, Satoru turns back to me. "You know, I could share this mana with you if you wanted."

I feel my face heat up instantly, my mind jumping to the most obvious conclusion. "W-what are you talking about?!" I stammer, blushing furiously. "That's not... I mean... That's not what you mean, right?"

He chuckles, leaning in closer with a teasing smile. "Wow, Rin, you're really something else, you know that? I'm talking about connecting our soul corridors, not whatever lewd thing you're imagining."

I blink, trying to process his words. "Soul corridors?" I ask, trying to sound composed but feeling more flustered by the second.

"Yeah, soul corridors," he repeats, clearly enjoying my discomfort. "It's a pathway between souls that transcends space and time. We already have one because we're twins, but we could strengthen it if we wanted to. By connecting our soul corridors, we could share mana, affinities, abilities, and even communicate through thoughts. The connection is like a bridge that links our spiritual selves, allowing us to tap into each other's strengths."

I narrow my eyes at him, suspicious. "And how exactly do you know all this?"

His grin widens, the kind that tells me he's about to show off. "Well, it's kind of like the spiritual world. The soul corridor is actually bigger than the material world-infinitely so. The soul isn't inside the body like most people think. It exists outside, beyond the physical realm, but it still affects the body in the material world. Each reincarnation brings a new identity, but the soul remains the same, and each person has a unique soul corridor. It's like a container for the soul, a metaphysical space that can store things, and when we connect two soul corridors, we create a yin-yang connection. The souls don't merge, but the corridors do, creating a shared space."

I cross my arms, trying to ignore how overwhelmed I feel. "So, you're saying it's like having a personal dimension where we can store things, strategize, and communicate without being physically present?"

"Exactly!" he says, looking pleased with my understanding. "It's not about being unstoppable, though. It's a tool-a strategic advantage. Humans can be divided into different aspects: the astral body, material body, soul, spiritual body, core or will, and mental body. The spiritual, material, and astral bodies are all housed within the physical form, but the soul exists outside of it, in this soul corridor. By connecting our corridors, we're essentially linking our spiritual realms, which opens up a lot of possibilities."

I take a deep breath, trying to absorb everything he's said. "And you've known about this the whole time?" I ask, my tone accusing, though I'm more curious than anything.

"Well, it's not something that comes up in everyday conversation," he says with a shrug. "But I figured it might be useful for you to know now, especially with everything going on. If we ever need to, we can rely on this connection to support each other."

I hesitate for a moment, the weight of his words sinking in. This soul corridor business...it's a lot to take in, but it makes sense in its own bizarre way. And if Satoru's right, it could be a game-changer for us in the battles to come.

"So...how do we strengthen this connection?" I ask, my voice quieter now, less defensive.

Satoru's expression softens slightly, the teasing edge fading away. "We can do it through meditation, focusing on our spiritual connection. It's not something that happens instantly, but with time, the bond will grow stronger. And don't worry, Rin-it's nothing like what you were blushing about earlier."

I roll my eyes, but the blush creeps back to my cheeks anyway. "Whatever, just...don't make it weird, okay?"

He laughs, and for a moment, the tension between us eases. "Wouldn't dream of it, Sis. But seriously, this could be important for us both. We'll work on it together."

As much as I hate to admit it, he's right. If there's a way to strengthen our bond, to tap into each other's power when we need it most, then I'm all for it. But I'm not going to let him know how relieved I feel. Not yet, anyway.

"Fine," I say, trying to sound nonchalant. "But don't think this means you get to slack off in training. I'm still going to kick your ass."

He grins, clearly ready for the challenge. "Wouldn't have it any other way."
