Much to the fear of Jelly, Fruit took him and Caramel to the Sweetestrain cove.

"No, no, no." Jelly said as he began to freak out. "I don't wanna be here."

"Jelly, it's ok." Caramel said, trying to calm down his friend.

"No, Caramel." Jelly snapped. "It's not. My brother was stolen by humans, here."

Fruit's eyes widened. "Jelly, what happened to your brother?"

Jelly sighed. "Gather 'round, it's story time."

Fruit and Caramel swam closer as Jelly told them what happened here.

An orange merman with a green tail was hanging out at a cove with his wife and two boys. There were several other merpeople there with them.

"Mom, can I go play with Caramel?" a young green merboy asked as he looked up into his mother's blue eyes.

"Sure, Jelly." the mermaid replied. She watched him swim towards a young yellow merboy. She then turned to her other son. "You can go play too."

"I'll just play by myself." the young merboy said as he swam off to do.

However, as he was playing a storm started up and a ship began to approach the cove.

"Parfait, go get the boys." the orange merman said to his wife.

"You don't have to tell me twice, Melon." Parfait assured him as she swam around the cove as fast as her pale blue tail would take her. She couldn't find them, though. She didn't give up and kept searching.

Meanwhile, Jelly was looking for his brother. "Oh, no. Humans." He swam behind a rock and peered around it. "There he is." He was about to breathe a sigh of relief but a net came down and scooped up his brother. "No!" he cried as his parents pulled him under.

"After that, I never saw him again." Jelly said as Caramel tried to comfort him.

"Strange." Fruit commented. "I had a dream that went exactly like that." He sighed. "Come to think of it, my parents names are also Melon and Parfait."

"I know, Fruit." Jelly said. "That's because, you're my brother."

Fruit's eyes widened. "But that means I'll have to move out of my friend's place."

"What friend?" Jelly asked in confusion.

"Prince Popsicle." Fruit replied. "He's my best friend."

"Can I meet him?" Jelly asked, curiously. "I also wanna see where you've been living."

"Alright, let's go." Fruit said as he led them back to the lake.

                                                                     ~Time Skip~

"Welcome home, Fruit." a purple lady said as she opened the apple slice looking double doors.

"Thank you, Gumdrop." Fruit said as he entered Caramel Castle. "Follow me, guys."

Jelly and Caramel nodded as they did so.

"Oh, I see you brought guests." Gumdrop said.

"Yes, I did." Fruit agreed. "Where's Popsicle?"

"Up in his room." Gumdrop replied as she gestured towards the stairs.

"Thanks." Fruit said as he lead Jelly and Caramel to Popsicle's room.
