"Why do you wish to speak to me, Cherry?" Shimmer asked as she led her through the castle.
Cherry gulped. "I want to apologize."
Shimmer stopped dead, which caused Cherry to walk run into her. Shimmer turned around to face her. "For what?"
"For everything I've done to you, your friends and your family." Cherry replied as tears formed in her eyes as she stared at the floor. "Fruit made me realize what a terrible person I've been. I wanna change. I'm glad you're dating my brother and I hope you'll end his queen."
Shimmer's eyes widened at the display. This seems genuine. "Cherry, you'd better not be lying about all this." she warned.
Cherry shot up and looked deep into Shimmer's blue eyes. "I'm telling the truth. I want to do something nice for you."
"Hmm." Shimmer mused as she thought about it.
"I've got it." Cherry exclaimed as a huge smile formed on her face. "I could show you what being a Sweetestrain princess is like."
"That's a great idea." Shimmer agreed as she smiled at Cherry. "When you wanna do that?"
"How 'bout now?" Cherry asked in reply.
Shimmer nodded. "Let's do it."
"Get ready for the time of your life." Cherry teased as they ran out the castle. Cherry told Fruit the she'd see him later.
Fruit smiled as he watched her and Shimmer change into merforms and swim to Caramel-lot.
~Time Skip~
"So, Shimmer." Cherry said while Shimmer was in a changing room. "Did ya find anything?"
"I sure did." Shimmer replied with a smile, even though Cherry couldn't see it. "Thanks for doing this." She paused before speaking again. "You're still gonna have to apologize to everyone else you've wronged."
Cherry sighed as she leaned against the wall. "I know but that's quite the list."
"Just take it one step at a time." Shimmer said. "Redemption doesn't happen over night."
"I suppose that's true." Cherry agreed. "Oh. By the way, after we're done here, I'm taking you to the spa."
Shimmer exited the changing room.
"You look great." Cherry exclaimed. "Gingerbread looks good on you."
"Oh, thanks." Shimmer replied as her face turned red. "Just you know, I've been to spas, before."
"That maybe true, but Sweetestrain ones are special." Cherry teased.
"Special, how?" Shimmer asked, nervously as she raised an eyebrow.
"We don't have 'mud' baths for starters." Cherry replied with a disgusted look on her face.
"Then what kind of baths do you have?" Shimmer asked, curiously.
"The better question is, what kind don't we have." Cherry exclaimed. "You name it, we've probably got it."
Shimmer's eyes widened as she imagined it all.
Cherry cleared her throat. "So, are you getting that outfit?"
Shimmer looked down at herself before back up at Cherry with a smile. "Sure am."
"Great." Cherry said. "Let's go pay for that. And then, it's spa time."
Cherry waited while Shimmer paid for your new Sweetestrain before leading to the spa.
