While Fruit and Cherry were walking to Shimmer's place, Pinkie's whole body just starting shaking, much to the concern of Cheese.
"Ya getting a doozy?" Cheese asked, knowingly as he held onto her.
"Sure am." Pinkie replied as the shaking continued. "And it's bad."
"Where is it?" Cheese asked as he tried to focus on her eyes but her shaking made it difficult.
"Caramel-lot, Sweetestria." Pinkie replied as she put her hand over Cheese's mouth before he had a chance to say anything. "Fruit and Cherry are involved, somehow."
"Should we warn them?" Cheese asked, after he pulled Pinkie's hand off his mouth.
Pinkie shook her head. "Don't disturb Pinkie Sense's predictions."
"What if they get hurt?" Cheese asked, now able to look into her eyes as the shaking slowed down, slightly.
"They have party power, Cheese." Pinkie said as she looked in his eyes, also. "They'll be fine."
"Only party planners have party power." Cheese corrected. "Candy power is just party power without the ability to deflate the hair when in a bad mood."
Pinkie shrugged. "Eh, same thing."
They continued talking.
~Back to Fruit and Cherry~
"Are we there yet, Fruit?" Cherry whined as she dragged her feet while Fruit was walking without issue. "We've been walking for hours."
"It's only been five minutes." Fruit deadpanned as he looked at her smiled. "Have no fear, we're here."
Cherry breathed a sigh of relief as she and Fruit walked up to their destination, Fruit knocked on it's purple front door.
Moments later, a purple lady, wearing a maid outfit opened the door. "Who's there?"
"It's me, again." Fruit replied as he waved at her. "Ya know, Fruit Loop?"
"Why you here, Mr. Loop?" the lady asked as she wiped off her apron as a pink girl appeared behind her.
"I'll take it from here, Cortana." the girl said with a smile, much Cortana's surprise.
"Gah! Princess Shimmer, don't do that." Cortana exclaimed as she held her chest. "You almost gave me a heart attack."
"But I didn't." Shimmer pointed out with a smile on her face. "You may go now, Cortana."
"Gladly." Cortana said as she swiftly walked away from Shimmer.
Shimmer turned her attention to the people at the door. "Ah, Fruit Loop." She then peered behind him, only to see someone she'd never expect so see standing there. She glared at the white girl behind Fruit. "Hello, Cherry."
"Um, hi. Shimmer." Cherry replied, nervously. She could tell that Shimmer wasn't too thrilled to see her. Then again, why would she? Cherry's been awful.
"Mind telling why you're here." Shimmer demanded as her hair deflated, slightly.
"Fruit brought me." Cherry admitted as Shimmer raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. "I'm telling the truth. Fruit, tell her."
Fruit let out a deep sigh. "She's right, Shimmer. I brought her here." He paused and turned his attention to the ground. "I also revealed the truth about people like us to her."
"You did what?" Shimmer exclaimed in disbelief, her hair fully deflated. "Why would you do that? She can't be trusted."
Fruit's head shot up as he started into Shimmer's eyes. "I trust her. She's not as bad as you think. Even you're friends believe that."
"Which friends?" Shimmer asked, curiously as she fidgeted with her necklace, being careful not to activate it.
"Pinkie and Cheese." Fruit replied as Shimmer stopped playing with her necklace, her eyes wide.
"They're ok with Cherry?" Shimmer asked in disbelief.
Fruit nodded. "Can you at least try to do the same?"
Shimmer looked at Cherry and nodded.
Cherry breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh, thank you."
"Now, tell me why you're here." Shimmer said.
"May I come in?" Cherry asked as she stared at the ground. "I need to talk to you."
Shimmer thought for a moment. "Just you."
"Ok." Cherry said as she turned to Fruit. "Wait here."
Fruit nodded as he watched them go inside.
