Once Cherry, Popsicle and Fruit got home, Cherry went up to her room without saying a word.
"Woah, what's with her?" Popsicle exclaimed as he straightened his vest.
"She ran into Cotton Candy, again." Fruit replied as he stared up at the stairs. "He was judging her for the fact she can't see color very well."
Popsicle sighed. "Yeah, she's always had that. She hates it. If only there was a way to help her."
"Hmm." Fruit mused. "I'm gonna go for swim, ok?"
"Alright." Popsicle replied as Fruit ran back out of the castle.
~Time Skip~
"Shimmer told me about this guy that apparently does more than plan parties." Fruit said as he walked down the street to the lake. Once he got there, he looked around to see if anyone was watching him. Luckily, no one was. So, he sat down, grabbed at the blueberry charm that hung on his red necklace which changed him into his merform, before diving head first into the lake. He then swam all the from Sweetestria to Equestria. He checked the beach for humans and found two. One was an all pink girl and the other was a tall, skinny and orange skinned guy with brown hair. "Psst." Fruit whispered, trying to get their attention.
The pair turned towards the sound and saw Fruit's head sticking out of the sea and approached him.
The guy spoke first. "Who are you?"
Fruit shook his head and backed away, slowly. "How do I know I can trust you?"
"Are you a necklace wearer?" the girl asked, curiously as both she and the guy looked down at Fruit.
Fruit nodded. "Yeah."
"It's ok." the girl said. "We're humans that know."
"Who told you?" Fruit asked, nervously.
"Shimmer did." the guy replied.
"Alright, fine." Fruit said. "My name is Fruit Loop and I'm the best friend of Prince Popsicle Lance."
"I'm Cheese Sandwich and this is my best friend/ girlfriend, Pinkie Pie." Cheese said as he pointed at himself and then at Pinkie.
"Why are you, here?" Pinkie asked, curiously.
"Princess Cherry needs help." Fruit replied while looking up at them.
"With what?" Cheese asked.
"She can't colors very well and hates herself for it." Fruit revealed. "I'm seeking a way to improve her vision."
Hmm." Cheese mused as he dug around in his hair. "Ah, ha. Here we are." He pulled out a small box.
"Cheesie, that's just a box." Pinkie deadpanned.
"Oh, but you see, my dear. It isn't." Cheese said with a smile. "For within this box is just the thing to help Princess Cherry."
"What is it?" Fruit asked, curiously.
"They're special contacts that I made." Cheese replied as he puffed out his chest with pride. "They will allow Cherry to see all the wonderful colors she's missing out on."
"Really? That's amazing." Fruit exclaimed.
"Just be sure to put the box in your hair before you swim back." Cheese said as he gave the box.
"Thanks." Fruit said as he stuck the box in his hair before swimming home.
