"Fruit, ya still there?" Popsicle asked while Cherry went into her bathroom.
Fruit slowly opened his eyes. "Where's Cherry?"
"Getting water for ya." Popsicle replied as he tried to sit him up.
Cherry came out of her bathroom, carrying a bucket full of water. "How do I do this?"
"Pour it along his tail, slowly." Popsicle replied as he did the motions.
Cherry nodded as she knelt down by Fruit. She then did as her brother had instructed.
Fruit watched her and smiled, much to Popsicle's confusion.
"Are, are, you guys a thing, now?" Popsicle asked with as he raised an eyebrow.
"Yes." Fruit replied weakly as Cherry put the bucket away.
"How are you feeling?" Cherry asked as Popsicle's eyes widened.
"My best friend is dating my sister?" Popsicle said in disbelief. "Yep, our kingdom is weird. No doubt."
"I'm fine, now." Fruit said as he rolled his at Popsicle. "Thanks for asking, Cherry."
"My bad, Fruit." Popsicle said. "I guess I was to busy focusing on you guys being together that I forgot to ask if you were back to usual self."
"I don't blame you." Fruit assured. "It is quite a shock, huh?"
Popsicle nodded in agreement. "Hey, Fruit. Do you remember the day you and Shimmer revealed to me that merpeople exist?"
Fruit nodded.
"The very thing that happened to Shimmer, just happened to you." Popsicle continued as Cherry's eyes went wide with shock.
"She's a merperson, also?" Cherry exclaimed.
Popsicle and Fruit put their fingers in front of their mouths to shush her.
"She's half one but yes." Popsicle clarified as Cherry stood up. "Why do you care, anyway? Ya don't even like her."
"Hmm." Cherry mused. She thought about something. "Fruit, can you take me to Canterlot, Equestria."
"Sure but why?" Fruit asked in reply as he changed into his land form and stood up.
"There's someone I need to talk to." Cherry replied as she rubbed the back of her neck.
"Don't do anything, dumb." Popsicle warned as he glared at her. "If Shimmer calls me later, saying that did something to her, then trust me, you will get an earful from me."
"I won't." Cherry as she walked out of her room followed by Fruit and Popsicle.
~Time Skip~
"So, how are we getting there?" Cherry asked, curiously as they both sat down next to the lake.
"Swimming, of course." Fruit replied with a smile as he changed into his merform. "Now you." He started to crawl towards her.
"Hold on, what're you about to do?" Cherry asked, curiously as she backed away a little.
"You'll see." Fruit replied as he leaned forward and gently placed his hand on her neck.
Moments later, "What'd you do?" Cherry asked.
"See for yourself." Fruit replied as he gestured to where her legs once were.
Cherry rolled her eyes before looking down at her legs. Only, her legs weren't there. Instead there was a bright red merperson tail with black ends. She was gonna scream but Fruit stopped her by putting his hand over her mouth.
"Cherry, relax. You're fine." Fruit assured as looked at her. "I'm able to change you back, ok?"
Cherry nodded as Fruit slowly pulled his hand away. "Now what?"
"Follow my lead." Fruit replied with a smile as he crawled into the lake.
Cherry shrugged before doing the same.
And before long, they swam to Canterlot.
