Maisie was really missing Keira and Lucy and she'd been in a bad mood since they left.

Erin could see how upset her girlfriend was and decided to do something to cheer her up.

She'd arranged to meet her at 2 but when Maisie had asked what the plan was, she'd told her it was a surprise.

"Come on you've got to tell me," Maisie said as she hated waiting for surprises.

"You'll have to see. I wouldn't get too excited by the way."

They were sat in the back of Karen's car.

"Karen?" Maisie asked as her girlfriend was being no help, "Where are we going?"

"Sorry, I'm under strict instruction not to say anything," she said.

She kept looking out the window and tried to figure out clues. It wasn't really much use as she didn't recognise where she was.

They eventually pulled up outside a building and Maisie realised what the place was.

She turned to Erin with the cutest excitement ever on her face.

"A trampoline park!?!" she squealed.

"Yep. I thought you'd like it."

"Oh I love them. My mum used to take me all the time to try and burn off my energy or as a reward or whatever but I haven't been in ages."

"Good job I've booked a two-hour slot then."

"Ahh I'm so excited," she cheered. As soon as they parked, she leapt out of the car as she couldn't wait to get inside.

She almost wanted to run into the building but not wanting to leave Erin behind, she did little skipping detours and climbed up on different stuff.

"You're wild," Erin told her with a chuckle.

"I'm just looking forward to it."

Once they got inside, they got their wristbands and then had to go and listen to the safety video. Maisie couldn't focus and kept whispering to Erin.

"Shush," Erin told her as she didn't want them to get in trouble and not be allowed in. Maisie didn't shush but luckily the room was quite busy and no one noticed.

As soon as the video stopped, Maisie leapt up, grabbing onto Erin's hand and taking them through.

They got onto the trampolines and Maisie was back to her usual happy self. She was laughing and joking and having an absolute blast. Erin was so pleased to see her like that; it had been hard to see how down she'd been the past couple of weeks.

She also quickly realised just how much energy Maisie had. She'd always seen how energetic she was but this was something else. Erin was already sweating and feeling a bit tired but for Maisie it was as if it had no affect; it practically seemed to be hyping her up more.

They had an absolute blast and Erin was so pleased she'd come up with the idea.

"What trick should I do?" Maisie asked. She was about to jump into the foam pit and Erin was sat beside it, needing a little break.

"Front flip."

She quickly did, squealing and making Erin laugh.

"What next?" she said, having sped out the foam pit to have another go.

"Do a flip but add a twist."

This went on for a while until Erin felt she'd got some energy back and they ran off to the dodgeball section.
