We shortly got home and we all had to rush over to the house. The rain seemed to have gotten worse in my opinion with heavy wind now. To be frank, his house was just a normal home. Nothing too big, but big enough to hold them all.

To think he's a mayor, someone with money, and he's not living in a mansion or a two story. Just simple, something welcoming and warm.

Allen, Amper and Ashton all took their shoes off by the door along with Asher. I followed in silence, my body shivering once my feet touched the cold tiles.

"Go on and take a shower, I'll make something." He says. Amper and Ashton groaned and Allen just followed simple orders, heading upstairs to his room I assume.

"But dad, you don't know how to cook." Amper groans.

"Yeah, I want take out. Like lobster or something."

Lobster? I never even got lobster when I was a kid. Never had it to get it actually. Whatever we had is what we had to make happen.

"Boys, there's a storm out, alright? Nobody's going to be delivering anything in this weather. Just...just give me a chance? Okay?"

They both grumbled their complaints and disappeared upstairs. I feel like Amper and Ashton gives him a hard time. Allen seems to be more respectful and understanding.

My eyes wandered around, taking in the three-sixty view of the living room, the kitchen and the dining table. Welcoming, simple. I did notice the sliding door to the left in the living room that leads to what looks like a back yard.

"Um...it's only a two bed. My room is right down from the boys. You can dry in there and put on something warm. I...obviously don't have female clothing. B-but you can wear something of mine and I'll take care of drying your clothes for you. I-if that's um...okay with you."

This is awkward.

"Okay." He nods.

"Okay."

I nodded and went upstairs. He wasn't lying about it only being a two bed. I noticed a room door painted with three different colors horizontally.

Red, blue and green. I knew for sure that was their room. Why not buy a four bed so they all get their own room? I wasn't sure if I was being judgy about how Asher has everything set up. It's his life, his family.

I have no say. I shouldn't have a say. I don't know him. Maybe they want to share a room. I know siblings can be inseparable. Especially twins or triplets.

I opened the door to his room and it's so...small. Not small as in suffocating small. But smaller than I imagined it'd be.

There's a king size bed in the middle with a wall window behind it. There's a closet to the right with a dresser that holds a minimum of a cologne, comb and brush, and a few watches. That was all.

The bathroom is to the right and I noticed a body mirror next to the closet. Everything is a mixture of the color tan and white.

I went up to his dresser closest to the door and began searching for something to wear. Everything was organized. A shirt draw, a draw for pants, socks, and even an underwear drawer.

I decided on a tan T-shirt and long tan pants. I don't want to walk around in briefs or boxers. Not my home.

I went into the bathroom and closed the door. I locked, unlocked, locked again. I'm fine. I exhaled heavily. I'm fine. I set the clothes atop the toilet seat and stripped out of my dress.

I took a towel from the rack in the bathroom. Again, everything is so organized and clean. I checked the mirror cabinet and saw floss, extra toothpaste, two extra toothbrushes and mouthwash.
