I locked my door and pushed my dresser to close it. I made sure the door was locked completely, locking and unlocking for further safety. It's been a week now, a full long and dreadful week being here.

I am yet to find a job. Nobody would hire me due to lack of experience or barely having any documents. What did I expect? And I've never went job hunting before until now.

I barely got to cook up a resume. The only thing I ever did before was be a head cashier at a local food store. But that's as far as my experience goes.

I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth before heading in bed. I popped my laptop open and went looking through my email to see if I had gotten a response back to anyone.

Nothing.

I forced back tears and decided to distract myself with YouTube videos. I didn't know what else to do. I didn't want to think too hard on my current situation and have another breakdown. I've been doing that a lot for the past week of being here in Belower Town.

It's so quiet here and the people are nice too. But most importantly it's far...very far away from him. Another video played and it was something I was about to skip until it caught my attention.

"Welcome back to Spill! We are still live from the studio. Mr.Allen, here have been doing an amazing job here for us in Belower Town," the lady grins. "Do you think on changing the name of Belower Town?" She asks.

The man sitting in the chair across from her hummed. Yes, I remember seeing him on the cover of a brochure I had read online before I moved here.

He's been doing this town justice. Looking out for the kids, making sure Belower Town stay safe and criminal free. It does have a low crime rate and Yawkings isn't in power any longer thanks to the last Mayor, Axel Pone.

I watched that too on YouTube. The shorts of their campaign and Yawkings vs Pone. It had millions of views.

"I might if Axel Pone doesn't stay out of my office."

There was laughter from the crowd.

"There are many men out there that aspire to be just like you, Mr.Allen. Not only have you been running an entire town all by yourself, you're also a single father. You've got three kids and you do so much."

More clapping. He doesn't look like he's got kids. I've seen it mentioned as well, but as for seeing these kids, I'm not sure.

"Yes, thank you...thank you."

"How do you manage that?"

"Umm...I don't know. I always find a way to spend as much time with them, half the time I let them do whatever. But umm, speaking of that a-and managing things...and I know this may come as a shocker but I'm currently um...looking for a bit of a hand at the office."

He seems extremely nervous. Touching his chin, itching the back of his neck, his hair, repositioning himself in his chair. He's nervous.

"Really?"

"Yeah umm...I'll uh, you can send your email to my email or you could stop by at the office tomorrow from one to five with your resumes in hand. Just for the position of...assistant."

"Well ladies you've heard it here love at the Spill! Mayor of Belower Town Asher Allen is looking for a single and hot, have to be good with the kids, lady to work as his assistant." She teases. He didn't seem very pleased with the extra words added due to his uncomfortable chuckle.

"Anyone really." He had said after.

"Have your resumes ready and your clevage showing for this fine gentleman." She still joked around and the zoom in's from the camera really captured his uncomfortable nature.
