The moment we rolled up to the pool party, it was clear we were making an entrance. Dio and Matteo were leading the way, and Dio was already in full throttle. She practically leaped out of the car, her arms full of inflatable pool toys. "Matteo, please tell me you packed the unicorn floatie!" she demanded, her eyes wide with excitement. "The pineapple floatie just doesn't scream 'epic party'!"
Matteo, who had clearly been coerced into inflating every single floatie, barely contained a grin. "Yep, I've got it. And if it's not enough, I also brought the giant donut and the flamingo." He pulled out an assortment of inflatable creatures, each more absurd than the last.
We finally got to the rooftop and people were already there. Some at the open bar, some in the pool practically people everywhere.
"Guys meet back here if we get lost" I yelled cause of the music and they nodded before I headed to the bar with Nick following behind me.
Nick grabbed himself a beer and I got a martini.
We headed to the sun beds and Nick sat down and pulled me onto his lap.
"You okay?" He whispered in my ear and I nodded taking off my shirt leaving me in my bikini.
Then I drifted off into a convo with Nate.
"Why the sudden pool party?" I asked him taking a sip from my drink "why not Adri plus we're about to graduate why not have a party" he shrugged "true"
"I'll be back" I whispered to Nick and he tightened his hold around me "I just need another drink" and he reluctantly let me go.
I got a drink and a few more and headed back.
As I made my way back to Nick with a drink in hand, I felt a hand grab my arm. I turned to see a drunk guy, his gaze unfocused and his grin too eager. "Hey there, gorgeous," he slurred, leaning in way too close. "Why don't we get to know each other?"
I tried to pull away, but he tightened his grip. "No, thanks. I'm heading back to my boyfriend," I said firmly, trying to stay calm.
"Come on baby" he slurred placing his arm around waist very close to my ass.
